I've been to Hathersage Twice now. Each time I've made a point of visiting this place. I was there Saturday and bought a Rab Technical T shirt from them. They have a great cafe with very tasty coffee and cakes upstairs. They do other hot meals as well. Customer service is always great. There are lots of climbing and hiking related pictures on the wall. It's got a great feel to it. I really like this place and the staff in the shop downstairs were also really helpful. It's an upmarket store with all your outdoors hiking and climbing kit. It's all high quality gear from reputable brands. Highly recommended.
Great store. They have so many options and people that seem to specialise in specific areas dependent on what you’re there to purchase. They can offer alternatives and advice if they don’t have specifically what you need too.nnWhat I was most happy with -nI’d spent quite lot of money here yesterday in several visits kept going back for more!. I tested out a camping mat on the night of purchase and when packing it away this morning, the carry bag ripped really easily no problems with the mat!nI felt it was a one-off fault in manufacturing as my friend had the same mat and carry bag, but it seems more Durable around the neck.nIn store, they were quick to pull out a carry bag from another box on the shelf and replace it with no questions asked.nDead happy. Lovely people!
We only used coffee place what is great, outfits at shop are far too expensive for casual hike for pleasure.nCan buy map and books if you fancy, that's what I would like recommended, and coffee upstairs, is lovely.
Visited the shop earlier this week as the area on holiday and noticed they are Altberg stockists ,the chap that dealt with me for fitting was very helpful and came away with my new boots .nGreat shop and very good range of anything you would need for walking and more .
Absolutely outstanding service!nI wish more people like them exist!nOrdered a pair of shoes which i really needed the next day by the afternoon for a hike and they went out of their way to offer complimentary delivery by 1PM to enusre i can get the shoes on time!nn12/10 rating!
