We don't live in the city centre but the sushi here definitely worth the travel! We absolutely love everything here. The chief here Mac is super nice and professional about what he does. I had a chat with him and found out that he's been doing sushi for over 10years! Respect! We'll definitely come more often as your food and price is absolutely our favourite! Thanks again
Decent sushi, props to the chef. We had the sushi master selection for two people 28 pieces of assorted sushi, 2 miso soups and bottomless green tea and some tuna sashimi at the end which came to £26 altogether which is a reasonable price for sushi from what I've seen. It's a small stall in the bullring fish market run by just the chef so it has an authentic feel and a nice atmosphere. I would recommend Otoro sushi however I suggest booking ahead as it is always busy.
Really tasty, freshly made in front of you and the staff were kind and patient. I took my 11 year old as she always wanted to try sushi. We both loved it.
I was greeted with a smile and a large selection of sushi. There wasn't much of a wait either, when I wanted to pay by card I was told it was cash only so he kindly directed me to the nearest cash point. I had crispy prawn rolls that came with a sachet of soy sauce, wasabi and other spicy treats. It was a really tasty and quick snack, thanks again!
We were really craving sushi for cheat day. We made the trip to collect and we were so glad we did. The owner was fantastic, we got so much for our money and the quality is incredible. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back soon!
Awesome sushi! Really tasty and expertly prepared. It was my husband's first try of sushi and it had taken a few years to convince him to try it, and he loved it. We used a Groupon and thought it was excellent value, but the normal menu is also reasonably priced and has a good selection. The place is a little hard to find in the indoor market but we just asked one of the fish sellers. We'll definitely be back.
Ordered 2 platters, both were awesome. Definitely recommend it to anyone who loves sushi.
A tiny place that serves very good sashimi and sushi. Be prepared to wait - we were and rewarded with some fantastic food! Cash only.. at least it was the case today.
Did we go on an off-day? The green tea tasted fishy, the slices of sashimi were paper thin, the tofu and tamago nigiri were way too vinegary and the fish wasn't particularly fresh. The sushi chef spent all his time watching a show on his iPad as he worked - very unprofessional. Anyway I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Our meal set us back £42 and we were still hungry after so here I sit in a nearby restaurant waiting for my second meal as I write this review. Wish I could say our experience was decent but it really wasn't. Perhaps it really was an off-day for him?
It is situated in the Bullring indoor market. Unfortunately it is very easy to missed it, so ask somebody. There are only 6 or 7 chairs but they offer take away. The sushi is the best I have ever tried. Very delicious, beautiful served and fresh. If you love sushi, go there or order by phone. I couldn’t find their website but they use a lot of food order platforms. Working hours are 10am-5pm, on Sundays is closed.
