We booked the Mayan Temple escape room for my husband and brother in laws birthday surprise, only 2 of the 6 of us had done escape rooms before so for 4 of us didn’t really know what to expect.  We absolutely loved it! We left completely buzzing and almost went back to do another one straight away! My husband got so competitive as the 4th 15 minute mark sound came. There was plenty of stuff to get your head working, enough parts that required team work and the hints were helpful but didn’t make it too easy.  We had a great time, can’t compare to other escape rooms as this one took our virginity but we were 100% happy with it and keen to do another!

I am a fan of Crystal Maze and I've wanted to try an escape the room experience. We were a team of three, young 22 year old man, my friend and new mother and me a 52 year old business woman.  It was billed as Uncover the mystery and secrets of an ancient Mayan temple, praise the Gods and find the elixir of life before the Syndicate find you. A full sensory adventure complete with audio, visual, kinaesthetic, aroma, temperature and story-driven experiences for a level of immersion never felt before. What are you determined to sacrifice?  It was definitely a jungle temple experience. I was worried I wouldn't be able to solve the puzzles as I am NOT a math whizz. I didn't need to be, because the puzzles were just the right level. The temperature, sound, light and smells were great. I struggled to hear the first instructions I'm not a audio person at the beginning and would have liked some visual instructions as well at the start. The pacing was great. I wondered what would happen if we got stuck however a Mayan God was there to talk with. That's the bit I loved the best. Loved the immersive quality of the game. I am going to recommend this to my friends. This is a perfect present for a puzzle loving family.  Bring comfortable but not fashion clothes and yourselves. It's about an hour depending on how good you are at puzzles.

Both rooms are a lot of fun and a nice challenge. The Vermilion room offers a Vs mode as well for a larger group. The prices are reasonable and the puzzles are cleverly designed but not impossibly difficult.

This was my first Escape Room experience and I absolutely loved it. It's so much fun! The props are amazing and the whole room has been put together brilliantly. From the second you walk in, the atmosphere is great and everything has been really well thought through. Completely different to any other activity I have encountered. There were quite a few surprises along the way too : my team and I are still talking about it and have booked to take on Mayan. Can't wait!

My brother and I have worked with Garf and Nicole on some of the props, so we were excited to finally play the rooms. This was our first time playing an escape room and it was an excellent first impression! The puzzles were well thought out and and interesting, the moment when you finally click on a hard puzzle is a great feeling. The rooms look great and it's amazing how many items appear from an initially empty-looking room.  We played Mayan immediately after, and we were equally impressed. The puzzles have a different style, but no easier to crack. Hosting was also excellent, with just the right amount of nudge given when needed.  We managed to beat both rooms just within the time frame, so it seems the puzzles are just the right amount to make it achievable. Really enjoyed our time there and we will be back for Abyss!

Mayan adventure escape was brilliant - really varied puzzles, lots of great decor and very well made. Staff are lovely and friendly, would very much recommend. Can be difficult to find, but so close to decent parking that it's worth the faff! One of the best escape rooms I've done - and I've done many!

As a big fan of escape rooms I can very much recommend these rooms! They are creative, well thought out and well paced with attentive and helpful staff that really make the experience fun. The rooms themselves each had distinct themes and character and had clearly been created with a lot of love. Without question in my top 5 venues to do escape rooms - and very eagerly awaiting the opening of their 3rd room.

Great fun, well priced and you can see that a lot of effort has been put in for each room. The staff are polite and friendly and get you in the right mood before you start your game. If you're looking for a fun activity to do in Southampton then I definitely suggest trying out their escape rooms. Once you complete the room, you feel like you want to go back and do it all over again because it's so much fun.

My friends and I played two different escape rooms, Vermillion and Mayan adventures. It was an amazing experience. You can feel the atmosphere as soon as you walk in to the building. They took lots of care to give you an immersive experience, putting lots of details in the decoration, puzzles, lighting, musics, etc. of the room. I really loved the animated robot, it was a nice touch. I couldn't recommend the place enough, the puzzles are hard sometimes but you can always ask for clue and it's a great activity to do with friends and even with people you work with and use it as a team building activity. Can't wait for them to finish their third escape room so I can go again with my friends.

This was my first escape room and i thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very attentive and helpful and the puzzles were very clever and challenging without being crazy hard.  Did with a group of work colleagues and we split into two groups and both did the Vermilon room in  competition mode. Great fun, would highly recommend.
