Great place. Great food and very friendly owner. Super cozy. Gezellig! Food is very well made. Best English Breakfast I've had in the neighbourhood. Only downside is that carpet downstairs is moist.
Random and totally quirky! This is what hip independents look like. This place feels like an old Aunts house.
This is one of the nicest place I have been to in London. My boyfriend and I went there for an afternoon tea, and it was perfect: there were plenty of cakes and sandwiches, all competing with each other for our preference. The carrot cake and the scones were particularly outstanding. The quality of their teas is also great, with a large choice. I had the ginger tea, which was very good, and my boyfriend had a very nice darjeeling. The service is also perfect. Giuliano and his colleagues are particularly welcoming, and the place feels like home. Strongly recommended!
When I first saw this place from the outside I was immediately attracted by its decor. It looked like a nice place to hang out with friends and have coffee and tea because it looks warm and welcoming with it's old quirky furniture and also friendly thanks to the owner Giuliano. It also has a cozy room downstairs and small exhibition space. It's my favorite place to go for breakfast in Dalston!
Great chintzy decor and classic 1960s soundtrack. Food very good, reasonable price and wide range of options for breakfast/ lunch/ afternoon tea. Was just a bit understaffed when we visited or it would be 5/5.
I discovered this place by chance on my way to the Vortex Jazz Club. This is a nice arty little cafe, a good place to spend some time. Unfortunately I was a little bit late, so couldn't check out their food, but the menu sounded interesting. If you're in the area and you've never been at the Other Cafe and Gallery, I think it's a place worth visiting!
Absolutely love this place! It's so quirky and charming! The homemade cakes are delicious poppyseed lemon cake, carrot cake and fresh baked scones, fresh juices and coffee are divine!
We asked for afternoon tea and it took forever to bring the food. Just tuna mayo and cucumber & cream cheese sandwiches not much variety, the cakes were very good though.
Such a wonderful little cafe with a beautiful space below, where the gallery is also situated. Love the atmosphere and the food and the prices are more than reasonable. 10/10 worth a visit.
We love going to this funky and quirky cafe. The food is great and Jules the owner is a lovely creative guy who is super friendly.
