I tried Original India today for the first time in years and I can honestly say that it was the nicest chips cheese and kebab meat I have had. The donner sauce was amazing! My dog even got a wee portion to herself. The staff were really lovely too

I ordered a curry dish with vegetables as I am vegetarian, and I was delivered CHICKEN. When I called to say this to them, I could hear them in the background acknowledging it “ah yes the rogan josh, the one that slipped?”. If you know that you sent out chicken instead of vegetables, why not call your driver back and contact me to let me know about the delay? I would understand, as long as I am being sent the correct order. Instead of enjoying dinner right now I am sick. I haven’t touched chicken in over 5 years. Not to mention the Kashmiri curry with lamb for my partner was anything but Kashmiri. The sauce was IDENTICAL to their Mirchi Korma I ordered from them before, which was also anything but Mirchi. Yellow, sweet coconut sauce. The lamb itself was a disaster as well. It all went in the bin. The only good thing about the order was the fried rice. Might help with the sickness! I am incredibly upset, I loved ordering from here. Never again, not after this. If it was just the chicken mistake I would give then another chance. But you knowingly let your driver deliver me the wrong order. Shameful. Dietary restrictions: They don’t take them into consideration.
Disappointed. Ordered Chicken Maryland. Consisted of 9 cubes of deep fried chicken, 2 pineapple rings and chips. Expected breaded chicken breasts, banana fritters sausage and bacon, salad. Never again, and not hot enough and still greasy
I messed up last week 02/07/2022, we where having my boys 18th birthday party on the Saturday night and i hadn't ordered food, i went to Original India at 4 pm and asked if they could help, i order from there Buffet menu over 250 items! and they had it ready for me to collect at 7pm!!! The food was outstanding!! 120 Various Pakoras, 50 Chicken Tikka, 50 Onion rings, 50 Chicken nuggets with chips for the kids 3 large various Pizzas, Garlin Nans, every item was delicious!! My guests absolutely loved the food! The guys were extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you all so much.

Recently moved to area and ordered from Original India twice now. The entire service of the restaurant right through to the food is outstanding! Food is always fresh, piping hot and tasty! Delivery is always prompt and drivers very friendly! 5 stars!
My husband picked up two Korma last night at 5.30 pm. This was the worst Indian food we have ever had. The Lamb was very poor quality. Chicken dry. Rice was clummpy and dry . We have been ill overnight. Had to throw £ 28 worth of food in the bin. I would have done a better job with some shop bought jar sauce. DO NOT EAT HERE .
First time we ordered from Original India it took 3 hours to arrive, the food was good so we thought we would give it one more try assuming the first time was unusual. As I type it's been an hour an a half since it was supposed to arrive and I phoned half an hour ago and was told it would be here any minute. Won't be ordering again.
DO NOT ORDER!!! Since changing ownership about a month or two ago this place has became a shambles, used to work here for 3 years as a delivery driver and occasionally helped clean the dishes, was always my go to Indian restaurant. Been waiting for 2 pizzas to be delivered for 5 hours now, phoned 30 times between my mum and myself and got through once only for the staff member to be nothing but rude to me down the phone. My gran has now went to bed without dinner because of how long it's taken. Will never be ordering again and I suggest to anyone wants an Indian takeaway to order from "Original Chillie's" just 5 minutes up the road from here as this is now beyond a joke. SHOCKING.
