So grateful to have China Style as a local takeaway, their food is fantastic. The meat is always tender, juice and fresh. Their sauces are not oily / greasy. Their food is consistently very very good.
I love the food from here. Been ordering from them for years. Their crispy chilli beef is lush, and it actually IS quite crispy. At some places the chilli beef can be soggy. Not here. Only negative thing I can say about their food is that their sweet and sour chicken balls are no longer 'ball' shaped and are a bit chewy. They obviously use flat, thickly sliced chicken pieces now instead of chunks and they're more chewy than they used to be. The Chinese beef curry is tasty, but could do with a few more slices of beef and less onion, but it's nice apart from that. They never get the order wrong either unlike other takeaway places round here.
I have ordered quite a few times from here. Efficient delivery. Good well cooked tasty food. Decent size portions. Will keep buying if the standard keeps up. Well done to staff and owner. Keep up the tasty food.
Placed an online order for delivery at 6.10 on a Thursday evening, was given a window of 75-90 minutes on delivery. Heard absolutely nothing from the restaurant for two hours and repeatedly tried to contact them to no avail. Eventually headed down to the restaurant after 2 hours and 20ins of waiting to be told that for wasnt even cooked yet and preceded to wait another 20 min in the store. Poor service in general and no communication.
This is rated 1 star purely for the shoddy service and more or less being accused of lying. I placed an order total £40 with Just Eat at around 5.30pm on a saturday eve. I am a bit of a novice on Just Eat so when I received no confirmation from them as to the eta, I called the restaurant and spoke to the lady. I recognised the lady's voice as I am a regular customer and she has always been very pleasant. My exact words to her was that I had placed an order on Just Eat and I haven't received a time of delivery. She said she had just received the order and it was being cooked and I will receive it within one hour. I said that was good and I will see them soon. The food arrived and just as we started eating, I had a knock on the door. It was the same delivery driver with another order. I was as confused as he was; I sent him away as I told him that we had our order already. I went back to my food and again the door knocked - I went to answer it again, it was the same driver who had his mobile phone in his hand and he said "she wants to speak to you". The same lady who I had spoken with earlier was insisting that I had ordered the food twice and I should pay for this. At this point, my food was getting cold, my guests were all waiting for me to return to the table. I was appalled by the attitude of the female member of staff. I had to tell the driver to go away in the end and she wasn't prepared to accept that they had messed up somehow. Why on earth would she think I would place the order twice? I am amazed that the chefs and even the lady didn't twig that the orders were duplicated when cooking them so so close together! When I called earlier to find out the time of arrival, I never mentioned what food items I had ordered on Just Eat. The lady just confirmed she had my order for my address. I called this lady the following day to ask her what had happened that my order was duplicated. She was not willing to accept that their system caused the problem and I did not receive an apology either. Unfortunately this takeaway has done themselves out of business as I won't be returning.
Very unpleasant staff drinks got delivered and when arrived I opened the bag and the two cans had exploded in the bag when I called them on the phone they wouldn't send me another two cans. Chicken in the curry was uncooked. I had a very bad experience if you want a virus or desise that's where to go with there uncooked chicken.
The best Chinese takeaway I have had in 10 years in London.... hands down. Friendly staff, good delivery driver, coke got lost in the bag but he brought it straight back again. .poor lad lol... anyway... awesome. 5 stars only because there isn't any more to give. ; will order again in a few days. Thank you!!
Best one in town, and I have tried all of them. Best won ton soup locally. Friendly customer service unlike other Chinese restaurants in potters Bar generally the others are very rude. But it's not cheaper all the Chinese are expensive.
Don't order from this restaurant. They are a fraud. There're telephone number is not recognised when reied to track my order which never arrived. Beware!
I'm so glad I didn't read reviews before I ordered cos if I did I wouldn't have! The food has always been on point great job guys
