One of the very few Fish And Chips that I would recommend in Essex Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Tasty, fresh and crispy batter on the fish and chips are yummy just like homemade chips Highly recommended
We order fish and chips every week from orient fish bar the fish is always amazing , it’s the best fish and chip shop around here by far and the people who work there are always polite and well presented
I have been using the orient for 3 years. I complained 6 months ago about the quality of the fish. I ordered a large cod and chips tonight 19/08/23. the cod is in the bin, I expected to be fresh but it was dry and soaked in fat and the batter was over cooked and soggy I suggest it was under the lamp and reheated, it was not freshly cooked as it only took 23 minutes from ordering and delivery. Shame really as 90% of the time it's good, sadly will not be using them again.
First time having the good … and won’t be the last!! Beautifully cooked fish the batter light and crispy and the chips were tasty and not oily
Ordered a fish in chips.. Fish was alright but the chips felt like sponge dipped in oil. On collection the staff were courteous. Place was hygienic and clean hence the 2 Stars. Website only showed status of preparing. Nothing after that. Not impressed.
Portions are more then generous and fish is mouthwatering good
Absolutely fantastic fish bar. The staff are fantastic and the look quality is the absolute best! My whole family loved it. I put a bit of a tricky order to them and they delivered it within 30 minutes and it was perfection. Wish I could put more than 5 stars.
Worst take away in Stanford le hope le The people inside the store showing to much attitude and the food not really poor not worth at all…
Awful food, chips were greasy and tasted like they had been warmed up after being left for hours. Wasn't fresh at all. All tasted old and greasy, the sausages were soggy and it all smelt like old oil. Delivery was £4, which is ridiculous considering most places are free within a certain distance or if spending over a certain amount. Would not recommend.
Top quality fish and chips and a good amount of food very impressed, staff really friendly
