We loved this gallery. The museum was quite good and informative, but the local paintings were great; a lot of great mountains and local scenery as well as some more abstract paintings. There's also a lot of good art and crafty things at the shop at the entrance. Rob Percy's book of watercolours is one of my favourites, and there are plenty of other great books and prints by local artists.
Free entry. Permanent exhibitions on anglesey history with plenty of activities for kids. Changing exhibitions; sadly no cafe at the moment but hot drinks from the machine and a wonderful gift shop.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
What a fabulous museum and Art gallery. Art to suit all tastes and a museum rich in the history of Anglesey. Really interesting in every way. No entrance charge either. They also have a really good cafe there too. We'll worth visiting both
Unfortunately, the extremely popular cafe is closed whilst a new owner being sought, however, a lovely small shop selling many individual hand made items. The art gallery and pottery area, well worth a look. Plenty of parkingVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Great little venue, lots artworks on display and for sale. Great exhibition of Anglesey life in years gone by, including Roman occupation. Good sized cafe for refreshments and plenty on offer in the souvenir shop. Good parking.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
What a wonderful gallery and museum. The opportunity to pause and be drawn into some wonderful works. The shop range is excellent....so much choice! The museum curator and team should be so proud of how they have showcased the unique history of Anglesey.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Always something interesting to see. The current exhibition has the fantastic Kevin Sinnott work, 'Running Away with the Hairdresser' and a real variety of other great works by Welsh artists.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Some amazing artist work on display but the real star was the Museum section which I would rate as exceptional for adults and children alike.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
