Any doubts about this temporary structure being suitable for a theatre replacement were pleasantly dashed, Dartford council have done a good job here, comfortable and warm. We saw the excellent Classic Rock Show here.
For a temporary structure it was well ventilated and had excellent sound. Seating location row x 29 & 30 had a good view of the stage. Only loss of a star was the seating quality, although good leg room, after seated for more than an hour, numb-ass set in!nEvent was Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells which was superb
We were unsure what to expect when we found out it was a semi permanent structure in place of the theatre during ongoing refurbishments, but we needn't of worried at all. Orchard West was a lovely venue and we attended Meatloaf by candlelight. Singers were amazing, staff were friendly and helpful and we had an all round brilliant evening, rocking out to Meatloaf songs in the car on the way home
