Doctors and nurses are lovely but there is one receptionist who is so rude and dismissive it makes me not want to call. She tried to get off the phone before I’d even finished speaking as soon as she decided she wasn’t interested. I understand it’s busy for them but that’s no excuse to treat people like dirt!
I saw Dr Lwin at Park Hall Surgery when some concerning symptoms appeared suddenly. Following an examination he was quick to order blood tests and imaging. The following day he called me and asked me some further questions and said he would like to investigate further. I couldn't go to the surgery that day so he organised an appointment with another doctor at Orchard Surgery the following day as he wasn't on duty that day. He was thoughtful in booking the blood tests at the same time to coincide with that appointment. I saw Zika he was very thorough in his examination and made me feel completely at ease. After the examination the doctor asked me to sit with him so that he could explain the findings from the examination and what the plans were to investigate my problem. When I asked the doctor his name he said his title wasn't doctor it was Practioner Associate. If I have to return to surgery at any time I will always request to see this very professional practitioner. 10/10.....thank you Zika. Zika also explained thar Dr Lwin would call me with blood results the following week. I left feeling comforted that I had been given excellent care by a great team who were all clearly working together to look after me. Thank you all of you including Nurse Jodie for making me laugh, what a lovely nurse you are. That afternoon I received a text confirming the date for my imaging. What a completely professional and joined up experience I had. Thank you again.
Great practice. No long waits. Reception staff and doctors very attentive and polight. It's also nice and clean.
I had my First visit to Riverport Medical Practice yesterday as a new patient, the receptionists were very welcoming. I saw Jodie the Diabetes Nurse she was very thorough with my tests, very good at blood test haven’t bruised! Made a follow up appointment when bloods are back.
Phoned to ask a simple and polite question about a potentially serious condition my infant daughter may have, and got treated like I was silly nuisance. Never been spoken to in such a dismissive and rude tone. The type of receptionist that someone at a complete low should never have the misfortune to speak to.
I had a greay exprience today, The doctor was following my previous problem. The reception was very welcoming. Jane Roberts was the nurse who did my tests, she was very helpful and kind. Thanks Orchard Surgery.
I cannot get an appointment at all, i have been trying for weeks and every time i call at 8am and 1pm as instructed i am on hold for almost half an hour only to be told that there is nothing left. Its disgusting that i am in need of medical assistance and i cannot even speak to a doctor over the phone let alone see a doctor. I have now been given the closest non emergency appointment on the 9th September!! My issue would be considered an emergency in the normal way but i have booked this as a last resort and hope by some sheer miracle that when i call in one day between now and then i will get an appointment sooner. If your looking to sign up to a doctors go elsewhere
This my surgery and I am so disgusted at the way how I am bring handle to try and book and appointment with the doctor my condition is getting worst but no body seems to care ....I would never recommend this surgery to anyone..Receiption Staff or the worst ... I have ever had to deal with
since they have merged i have had nothing but problems with my medication, also the fact that if i want to see a certain doctor i have to wait for them to be at orchard surgery otherwise i have to get a taxi to take to Fenstanton or Somersham which is something i cant afford. Before the merge i could not fault the surgery. The saving grace is that at the moment Dr Tong is still there. who is fantastic in how she has looked after my mum and also with you.
Riverport MP have been absolutely outstanding in my healthcare and treatment. I have constantly felt safe, valued and most of all in good care.
