Picturesque and verdant tea room with fabulous outdoor garden. Various historically important visitors are detailed throughout the grounds. Tasty scones and cakes. Coffees are average. Self service. Ample off street parking.
Lovely afternoon tea, essential to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Orchard gardens are the start of a very pleasant walk down to the river.
Nice enough surroundings. Food poorly presented. Salmon and asparagus quiche was tasty but very tiny, no more than 3 small mouth fulls. Plate was full of iceberg lettuce and new potatoes. No presentation and very overpriced. Would not recommend.
This an amazing place. Food . Atmosphere. Very traditional. Clean good parking. Have been coming here for years always happy. A lovely place to spend some time.
On a beautiful late summer day the orchard garden was perfect. But of a queue but staff great and efficient. A lovely lunch and a cold drink what more could you ask for.
This is a lovely setting, especially in good weather, but the food could be so much better, especially for the price. The scones look beautiful, but are not special. Still, sometimes the ambience is worth it, especially with visitors from another area.
Fantastic experience sitting out in a deckchair while enjoying a cream tea. Great value, very helpful and friendly staff
