Walking distance to village with pubs and shop. Approx 2 miles to Filey. Shower block modern and clean. Grounds kept well however from our pitch in 'F block' we couldn't see any of the grounds! This has to be the worst site we have stayed on. Pitches had no space and when cars/awnings in place I'm not even sure they met legal requirements. 'F block' was surrounded by high conifer hedges so the only thing visible were the other caravans. For waste there was just one skip near the camping area with 2 blue bins for glass recycling and one dog waste bin, there were no bins anywhere else on site except in shower block. Camping area is next to railway and road.
Cottage had mould in the bedrooms, just being taken over so construction work was going on. Lovely area to visit. Filey and Whitby great to visit.Rooms: 3/5

Fantastic place for a short break. Our Granddaughter loved it. Lots of room and the playground is very near for a quick play before bed time. Cottage was very clean. We will definitely be going back again. Rooms: Nice size rooms. Very clean Nearby activities: Playground, close to all the local costal towns: Filey, Bridlington, Scarborough and Skipsea. Safety: Away from the road and the playground is very safe too.
Used to take grandchildren each year in our tourer, they all enjoyed the site, but the last time we wentabout 3 yrs agothe mini train and the swimming pool had gone and the club didn't have the kids entertainer every evening. Everything else was great, facilities and staff etc.Service: 5/5
I live close by and have never stayed there it gets lots of visitors who do not disturb people who live near by
Just had one week at this fabulous holiday Village in Rose cottage. The cottage was excellent, everything there you needed, spotlessly clean, Anne on reception is brill, there's caravans, tourers and camping, a lovely bar alas only open Fri night and sat night due to lack of custom. As an ex landlady I quite understand that.The horshoe Inn just up road is a lovely pub and I can recommend the food. The Cottage and White Swan pubs are also good and very welcoming, all in all a lovely holiday and we've booked again for next year.
Excellent site close to everything you're going to want to do on the coast. We stayed on the touring pitches with our caravan and the site was well equipped with washing up facilities, elsan disposal, water points and showers etc. The showers were a bit annoying as they turn themselves off after about 20 seconds but I suppose that is to prevent flooding/wasted water. There are no plugs in the sinks for washing up so take a bowl! Our lass has visited previously and said there was a miniature railway running but unless we attended at times it doesn't run or just completely missed it I'd say that is no longer running? Prepared to be wrong of course.
Left today after our 4 day holiday. We stayed in our trailer caravan with our 4 children. This was our first visit to Orchard farm holiday Village and it was lovely. The kids made friends at the playpark and arcade, bingo on Saturday night and great clean showers /toilets. The whole place was spotless and well looked after. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Thanks Laura
Great site, really clean and looked after, good rates too, staff very helpful and toilets and showers were very modern and immaculate. Good base for Filey and local pubs within an easy walk , very kid friendly, would definately come back. Thank you
