It's a great place for shopping, offering everything you need food, dining options, clothing, shoes, and more. All the basics are covered. There's plenty of parking, and the area is clean and generally not too crowded, except during peak times like Friday evenings or around midday on Saturdays and Sundays.
Be aware!!! The parking operator has a maximum stay of 5hrs which considering this is a location for a cinema and restaurants is unacceptably short. This limit is not clearly signposted throughout the car park. It appears on the normal sized text of the charges which is only visible by the pay machines or a few parking spots. The overstay charge is stated as £100. This is unscrupulous practice by the parking operator.
It’s unfortunate that I have to leave a negative review but I was left with no choice.nI am not from Abingdon, I am here only for work.nnI was looking for a place where I could have a haircut, some food and also a walk around for shopping.nWhen I mentioned it to one of the Hotel workers, they recommended me to visit Didcot outdoors shopping centre, which I did.nI had my haircut done at the Boss Barbers, went to Sportsdirect and spent £240 then made my way to the coffee lounge and finally had some food at KFC.nnUnfortunately this visit became even more expensive.nnCame back home today to find a letter with a £100 parking ticket.nnArrival time: 13:48nDeparture time: 17:05nnIt’s not even 4 hours..nnHow disappointing this is…nnI still have 6 months left of work in Abingdon but, I won’t be going back to this place, that’s for sure.nnThanks but no thanks.
An excellent realisation that although the Traffic was exceptional heavy getting there - more than hour: for 1.4 mile stretch! But there were still quite a number of open pace spaces available.nWonderful, friendly service at each of the places I needed to go to!
Keep mobile phone photo evidence of your car park check out. Many people getting fined when they have paid but machines frequently without receipt paper.
