Really amazing food and very good value when I consider the quality of food and presentation. It's also a really cute and cosy pub with lots of parking too. The service was lovely and friendly too, however we did find it just a little bit too slow at timea. On several occasions, we also needed to wave our arms or get up to grab a member of staff's attention as it took just that bit too long. Overall though, excellent experience and would love to come back again. Thank you.
We went last Sunday for a meal and while we didn't have any reservations, we were able to find a seat immediately even if it was quite busy during lunch time. I was pleased to see some Asian dishes on the menu so I went for the Korean Chicken Wings as well as the char siu pork salad. The chicken wings were superb - perfectly fried with a good crunch on it and the meat was juicy. I wasn't a big fan of the char siu pork salad though but the wings were so good that it still gets a 5 star review from me.
Great surroundings, good food and nice staff. The teepee they have in the garden is an interesting twist you can dine inside it if the weather is not so good. Well worth a try if you are in the area.
Great place. Food was great. Staff were great Will come back again
Amazing service, happy and chatty staff. The family 4 felt very well looked after. The food was really great. I generously shared my 'delish' home made nachos starter and still had more than enough for myself. Lots to choose from on the menus. It wasn't the cheapest, but it was all very good quality and cooked to perfection. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.
Let's start with the positives. A nice and clean place with lots of parking available. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. Now the negatives. We booked a table for quite a few people for 4pm. We didn't get to our table until 4:20pm as it wasn't ready. If it reached 4:30pm, I was ready to complain. What is the point of having a booking if it is not adhered to? The offer of vegetarian food is awful. Very very limited choice. 2 salads, pizza and a tofu with ramen were the choices. If you are a vegetarian and want to see a few choices on the menu, please avoid this place. The lack of menu options spoiled it for me. I did end up choosing a salad which was very nice, and everyone enjoyed their food. I'm only giving it 3 stars because of the menu options as previously stated.
Lovely staff, I loved the gentleman with blonde hair at the front, was professional and smart, food was delicious
Food was appalling. Being very fair, the mushroom soup was nice, my pasta dish had very little flavour, a bit of pasta mixed with a bit of pesto and with a couple of small crab pieces in it. The chicken dishes were dry. Service and wine were good though wine and food was pricey.
Although we hadn't booked a table and no tables in the restaurant were available, we were seated somewhere else by a lovely young man, Sam, whom we assumed was the Maître d'. He was professional in everyway. We were immediately impressed with his manner and efficiency. We were seated and our drinks order was taken immediately, this quick attention was impressive. However, the best thing about our unplanned visit, was how wonderfully perfect Sam was in the service he provided. Sam was attentive and took our food order quickly and efficiently, serving it to us in the same way. He was exceptionally personable, very well presented, he had a brilliant genuine smile and a refreshing manner that made us feel comfortable and cared for straight away. Equally impressive was how he treated everyone in the restaurant with such care and professionalism. Overall, the food was wonderful, the service excellent and the surroundings in your premises was lovely. It certainly made our visit worth it and enjoyable. If we find ourselves back in the area, we would be sure to visit again and would happily recommend this pub/restaurant to others.
Nice atmosphere and venue. Food at least the burger which I had was extremely bad though. Very dry crusty beef Patty with no sauce or flavour. For £15 you'd at least expect some sauce in the burger.
