You can see through the crispy pancake... a fast food style chinese at best, we used to come here many years ago when it was seen as up market restaurant..very disappointed
I don't think it is the same restaurant I went to 30 ish years ago with my polytechnic friend whose uncle was the owner of the restaurant with the same name in Oxford. I have a dinner there today but was disappointed, in particular the bird net which is far too hot.
Food is nice. The price is a bit expensive.
The food is amazing, I've been eating at this restaurant since 2014 and I enjoy the meal every time but, the only but! Is the lavatories, they are beyond appalling. I do hope the management improves those facilities.

The very best Chinese restaurant that I have visited among a long list of Californian, British towns. The food has always delivered on taste, portions and value. I have friends who travel from London to Oxford to enjoy some of the great food served there.
We ordered two bowl of noodles and one prawn dish, two soft drinks, it costs over £30. Prawn dish is salty and noodles are not tasty.Some dishes are overpriced.
The aubergine with minced pork is a must! Been many times and always satisfied! Best to order a few of the more authentic Chinese dishes and share them to enjoy the full menu variety, instead of the rice dishes or set menus. Other personal favourites: pork with rice sticks, green beans and hot and sour soup.
Shouldn't be quite on a Saturday night in Oxford. One of the few original authentic Chinese restaurants that has survived the big restaurant chains. Food prices and portions are very generous. Fast efficient and friendly service. 10 out of 10 for the food ....kids absolutely loved it.
