I am prompted to write after reading a negative review which does not reflect the excellent service my family and myself have received over more than 25 years.  there are problems over making contact and obtaining appointments, but these are a national symptom of under finding and not down to any particular practice.

Reception staff are incompetent and lets the whole surgery down. If you can ever get through good luck with getting past the gate keepers!!! Ambulance staff shocked by ignorance of receptionists at this surgery

I have had only good and helpful help from this surgery from all of the staff and Drs and so had my husband at this point I would like to thank 
DrH Taylor  and Dr Gill for there support and understanding during a very difficult time for my self and my husband as far as I'm concerned this surgery is the best you will find .

I can not express how excellent I find this surgery unfortunately over the last eight and a half years I have had lots of need to use the surgery after a number of different health issues . I can honestly say not once have I been able to complain about the service I have received from receptionist to doctors it has always been outstanding . Yes sometimes it may take a while to get through but that's no one fault it's a very busy surgery but when ever I have needed I've always seen a doctor and have never been made to feel I was a nuisance .  All my members of family have been treated the same way . I would like to thank everyone at ongar health center for there excellent care over the last few years especially Dr Phipps whom has always helped me so much . So sad to be moving and having to change doctors have been at other surgeries in the past that could learn so much from Ongar health center .Thankyou .
