Free pool before 8pm. Good selection of real ales. Gets lively in the evening.

Sadly the dog is my local, but they don't care there main goal is money and don't appear to respect the locals. Some staff are great but the score can't reflect, as the friends of the staff gather and act in negative manor and undermined, belittle or abuse there patrons as they have some underlying just worth. I am deeply disappointed with the dog and the way its going the only reason I return is a loyalty to a employee there who never judges or discriminates. Sadly I could only describe these place as a breeding ground for the pretentious and bullies. Sad to see a great pub become unwelcoming

Always crowded on the weekends, luckily from what I experienced, a great deal of the people were relatively friendly.
