Went there as it was the nearest place while visiting Lyle Hill. Lovely cafe. Staff are friendly and they allow dogs. My partner got the Strawberry Cheesecake milkshake, i got a caramel mocha and our friend got a hot choco. They were absolutely delicious. We also got the pancake platter and that was such a delight, even took the extras home in a box. Would recommend and visit again.

We've had 2 lovely brunches at The Cove this week. Thoroughly recommend!! Need to try lunch next!!

Nice place and great friendly staff. The place was a bit busy, we had a call to come back after 20 minutes when the table was free. Great coffee with a touch of art, delicious cake and paninis. Daughter loved the nachos! Plus the best smoothie in Inverclyde!

Great place to sit and eat or drink. I love it so much, me and my family brought my dog here and loved the little doggy cake that was given to him. Dog friendly, great customer services and Kayleigh has great humour, she can entertain the whole cafe just today she silenced everyone in here by getting excited about snow! She gives my attention seeking dog the attention he wants and always stops to say hello to him when walking by. She gives out pagers to let you know when a table is available if it’s full when you arrive. I love her so much and hope she gets the perfect Christmas night out she was talking about before hand. I love the cove so much and love how the cove is right next door to my park run so that I can come every weekend.  Kid-friendliness: Lovely to kids, I’m 13 and they treat my little brother superbly. They make sure his hot chocolate is perfect and don’t burn his mouth. They talk to him and entertain him while he waits for his food as well. He always asks if we can go back for more about 5 mins after we left  Parking: There is enough parking nearby and is very easy to access.

Literally an amazing breakfast in a relaxed place with very attentive staff. A must visit in Inverclyde.Food: 5/5

Visited The Cove cafe today and would highly recommended a visit to anybody going to Gourock.  Very friendly staff and very nice food we had coffee and toasties a chilli and cheese and cheese and onion one both very tasty with nice fresh salad and coleslaw and two nice coffees . A great wee cafe with cracking views as a bonus

Tremendous scran, top coffee, and not a bad milkshake. Service was first class even when the cafe was queued out the door.

I have been very impressed with all the boutique type cafes I’ve been in around the Gourock and Greenock area, this one is no exception it’s cozy with Panoramic views and great coffee and food. I love the view over the Clyde and mountains. Perfect  friendly service, delicious food and drinks in a warm cozy environment, there is good reason it has a 4.5 score on trip advisor, I personally would give them 5 stars.  We were very impressed with the Tea infusion timer :
