Watched Death on the Nile this evening with my sister and nephew. First time to this cinema and was quite impressed with the facility. Lots of parking space, great for someone with disability, buy tickets at a kiosk- all very accessable and user friendly. Prices were as to be expected quite dear and cinema snacks extortionate - £3.60 for small share bag of minstrels chocolate for example. Clean toilets, comfortable soft leather seats that reclined a little in screen rooms. Only irritating part was when there were dramatic pauses or silences in our film we could hear the music and banging from the film next door which took away from the experience of our film.
Wtc, was watching the new avazar r whatever u call it here tonight. Started off well, got in and got snacks quick enough, but once we arrived to the seats I was met with what seemed like a tropical heatwave coming from the fans, near felt like I was gonna melt for gods sake, would of been safer coming in a pair of shorts…might’ve left with a bit of a tan with that heat in there tonight. The seats were also a bit uncomfortable but that might of just been my bad back that was giving me grief, additionally the film wasn’t the greatest, I know it wasn’t the cinemas fault but would like to get my point out there. To finish on a high note the nacho’s were excellent along with the gallon sized bottle of fanta and coke I had bought, overall it was a good night out tho!
Movie was good but was spoilt by a load of kids talking and messing around during it. They also kept running in and out of the screen.
Great Cinema, friendly staff. My wife went to the ladies bathroom and was disgusted with them, they were vile and stinking. This was the late show and the place was nearly empty, it shows that nobody is checking the bathroom not good enough.
Good variety of movies with all the resent up to date screening. Clean and friendly staff. Great variety in the shop. All can be booked online before you go.
Good cinema, helpful staff and very clean areas. Just a few points that really let it down, food is poor, small expensive micro mush. Sound leaks from other screenings, while watching the emotional last performance of Elvis I could hear Tom Cruise flying an F18 off his aircraft carrier!! I don't know how this could be fixed!
I don't understand why I've to order my food and drink at a machine like in McDonald's, tap card, then wait for my receipt and then show my receipt to the cashier to get my items. It doesn't speed the process up rather hinders it. Also, over £4 for a large Coke zero. Medium popcorn was about £4 aswell. I knew it'd be expensive but that's ridiculous. If a movie ticket is £6.20 then a coke and popcorn shouldn't be nearly £10. On the plus side staff were friendly and seats were comfortable.
Comfortable seating, clean and the heat was on. Sometimes it can be cold. Food too pricey
Staff, especially a young male, was exceptionally helpful. Very pleasant and showed us how to get tickets. Toilets very bright and clean. Pity about the horrendously loud pre-film adverts. We failed to have a conversation before the film started. We do not have hearing problems.
Good cinema with several screens. Shows some films not available in other areas of Northern Ireland. Free parking. Not far from Rushmere shopping centre.
