A very beautful train station staffed by very friendly and professional staff. Who are amazing at their jobs. The train station is not far from the 37 bus route and is a short walk from the Olton library and is not far from the Warwick Road. I personally love using this train station and it is my person favourite station too. Olton train station has trains going to Birmingham to Solhull. Olton train station has a beautful waiting room decorated with flowers and the station and the platforms are always in a clean manor.
We arrived for the 17.14 train, which sped through at high speed and didn't stop 20 minutes later. Information board then showed next train was cancelled.nnOf course, there's no one in the booking office to ask what is happening as that's closed...so we got an Uber instead...

this is a good station however the lift is never working, and as someone with a small baby with me Most times I travel, this is quite inconvenient, as I usually have to ask someone to help me carry my pushchair up all of the stairs. the trains are mostly on time. it used to have amazing service, it's really gone downhill now. the lift definitely needs to get checked out and it should be working all of the time.
Extremely rude person at the ticket office. Shouts at people if they ask him to repeat himself. He mumbles, so what he says is incoherent. I shall make a formal complaint. I asked for his full name, but he refused. I recall his first name being DAVE.
