Came in for a quick fish butty, I was out delivering so fancied a bite. The two blokes there were nice and even gave me some chips for free! Breadcake was fresh and fish tasted perfect and crispy too. Will definitely use again if in the area and highly recommend this place for perfect fish and chips
I'm not from the area but staying close by for work. Ollies is now my local chippy and I make sure I visit at least once a week. Beautiful fish and chips and a fine curry sauce. Highly recommended!Food: 5/5
This is the best chippy for miles. The food is cooked to order so no stale fish sitting being kept warm. The fish is generous sized and plenty of lovely chips freshly fried too. The biggest bonus is they are very very reasonably priced for the great standard of the food. I go most weeks for what I call the happy meal. Great guys work well together. WHATS NOT TO LIKE ?
Best chippy in Leeds, chips are perfect and piping hot, got a battered sausage, chips, gravy and a tin of pop for £4.50 everything was spot on and the gravy tasted like the thick stuff you get from KFC!! Been back twice since my first visit, this is gonna be my go to place for fish and chips

Brilliant portion size on the kids meal and great value. The guys who run it are always really polite, kind and professional. Been coming for years and fish and chips are always delicious. Thanks Kid-friendliness: Kids meals are great size, quality and price. He changed the wrapper for me when I said my kid was eating straight away to a box that was easier for him to eat from. Well, this place is absolutely the best place for fish and chips in the Central Leeds and perhaps even the West Yorkshire. A proud sign proclaims "Ollies fisheries" as you enter the clean, well kept establishment. Everything seems new and pristine. The seating is comfortable. You can tell the owners care about their place because it is so well kept up. The food itself is delicious. Fish is tender and flaky the way fish should be. The batter is thin and crisp with just the right flavor. This has been a favorite of mine for years. The price is just right too. You can get a one piece meal with a side of your choice for about five pounds. The fish portions are large and even a well practiced eater would probably be filled with two pieces. Give this place a try if you are in the Fresno area. If you live here, you probably already know about the place.
