Lovely views of Scarborough set in a scenic area. Plenty of parking places and walking areas around here, be aware it is part of a race track and they do have occasional race days so do check for dates before travelling. No amenities here.
A historical monument of impotence. This site is a memorial for remembrance the WW2 casualties from Scarborough with names of their veterans engraved on the monument. This location overlooking the sea, gives you a panoramic view of the lighthouse, the castle and harbour. The cool hill top hill is therapeutic i must say! Highly recommended Playground: This location gas got a little green area where kids a.d young adults can catch fun Dog-friendliness: Make sure you clean after your dogs. Picnic area: Nice green area for picnics and sit outs to catch some fresh air
Incredible view and a lovely peaceful spot to admire the scenery, the road is perfect for an evening drive!
Very long and steep walk up to Olivers Mount but worth it.....Beautiful views over Scarborough and there is a cafe up there, although we didn't go in. Famous area for motorbike and cycle racing. Always nice to check out the local landmarks
An impressive War memorial in an elevated position overlooking and providing magnificent views of Scarborough. There is a cafe, but my visit was outside of its opening hours unfortunately, but next time will have drink and snack here, while enjoying the views . Olivers Mount features a racetrack - I might well come back when there is a motor racing event.
The War memorial is an historic place but Oliver’s Mount is also a Great place for bike racing or a trip out with the family..! Great views of the Scarborough coast and a great little bikers cafe helpful friendly staff
Despite visiting Scarborough on many occasions I can't believe I've not seen this place before. On our way back home we saw the light on the hill and decided to visit. It's not a well lit area particularly the drive up after the sin has gone down. A little car and caution needs to be taken. Once you're up top, the views are gorgeous, especially on a clear day/night
It is definitely worth visiting the hill too. Breathtaking view! The cafe beside is also very good.
This is a lovely spot in general great views across Scarborough to the sea and not forgetting the race circuit for those motorbike enthusiasts
