Perfect if you love Fish and Chips but would like a going out and dining in experience, the perfect in-between. Delicious food, very well priced, and drinks and service too... Lovely! Parking: Bit of a squeeze when busy.
10 out of 10! The best fish and chips! Everything was delicious: the cod, potatoes and mushy peas! We would definitely come back if we lived in the neighbourhoodRecommended dishesLarge Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas, Cod
The food here is always excellent, I don't have fish and chips anywhere else now as its always so fresh and tasty here. Its always different sizes which shows me its not frozen shop stuff. They have a take away side and a restaurant side. It's always busy which shows you how good it is. They have a big choice aswell so don't have to just have fish and chips. Kid-friendliness: Always have options for the children Parking: If car park busy both front and back there is street parking.
The food was great from here but found the battered sausage was abit oily, but the cheese sauce well what can I say " it was amazing", friendly staff also the option to eat in.
Had to wait absolutely ages queues were ridiculously long and after all that the ‘large’ battered cod was the skinniest piece of fish I’ve ever seen.. Also gravy tasted a bit weird but was a nice consistency. Staff were polite and friendly, cod and chips tasted okay to be fair.
Popped in on trip back to South West from London. Fantastic fish and chips and service was great too. Thanks again! Kid-friendliness: Went the extra mile to ensure little one had a great meal.
Dropping as it was a Sunday and out local was not open. Great food, beautifully cooked fish and the curry sauce is wonderfully fruity in flavour. We will be back! Easy parking too!
First time I'd been in 10 years having moved back to the area. Pleasantly surprised. Yes the 'large cod' has been downsized but it was big enough for me. Same with the regular chips. Price was about £1.50 less than an award winning place I used to go to and just as good.
Updated from my last visit. Wasn't very busy when I arrived. The young lad on the till seemed to come across as rude and sharp. I was asking a question about what I was ordering and I just go a "I don't know" when I asked for him to check his attitude said the rest. For what your paying for the food and reputation definitely not worth it
