We went on a Sunday evening & had booked ahead but we’re left waiting for around 5 minutes whilst servers looked at us & continued walking into the kitchen. I had to walk into the dining area eventually. It wasn’t too busy, the restaurant had a 2/3 small tables seated & a big party upstairs. We were seated at the table at the bottom of the stairs so got all the noise from the party upstairs, kids up & down playing on the stairs & then all walking past us to leave whilst we ate. The staff were shutting everything down & the cutlery tray was just next door to where we sat & it was very noisy as they put the clean stuff away. It was generally a hard evening to have a conversation with friends over dinner. The waitress spilled a glass of water all down my left side & leg & brought me a tea towel to dry my jeans, which it didn’t. I did get a replacement water but it was warm so had to ask for ice. Tbh when I’ve worked in restaurants and made a mistake like that I would’ve comped more than a water. The food was ok, but definitely overpriced. Whitebait was rock hard & fish needed the sauce. Really wasn’t worth the amount we spent.
Absolutely gorgeous food. Pleasant service staff. Definitely be going again!! Kid-friendliness: Could do with a better kids menu. Like, smaller portions of the Italian favourites.
Amazing food and great service starters were much bigger than expected. You do need to order sides if you want veg etcFood: 4/5
Disappointment is probably the best way to sum up our evening. This old and attractive restaurant promised much and we were welcomed and shown to our seats with no problem. The initial soup was as expected but somewhat flavourless. This was followed by one plate of fish which had not been boned and, for me, my favourite Italian meal, lasagne, which apart from having no meaty flavour included thick slabs of soggy pasta. The dish of vegetables included a plethora of boiled parsnips - it is difficult to understand how such a tasty vegetable could be made so unpleasant to eat. After such disappointment, we decided to cut our losses and call it a night.
Excellent lunchtime meal, pizza was superb. Service very attentive. Not very busy so little atmosphere, however I'm not bothered with that. Was going to have a steak until I saw the prices, there again they use an excellent butcher just across the road for their meat. Will definitely go again next time I'm in Ledbury.Food: 5/5
One of my favourite restaurants. Excellent service. Great menu with lots to choose from. Really good choices for vegetarians. Would recommend the white chocolate profiteroles for desserts.
We booked for a table of 13 people and staff where more then helpful. It was our first time coming to this Italian restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Fantastic service, fantastic food, absolutely delicious. All 13 people were fed at the same time no delays which was great!Food: 5/5
The food was excellent, the service was so poor we had to leave before our ordered dessert came to the table. Although we did get this refunded with a 13% discount off the rest of the bill Waiting time between courses averaged 15-25 mins, and when we wanted to get the attention of the wait staff no one was to be seen. And it wasn't because they were busy, with myself and my two companions there were at best 9 people in the place. And the atmosphere was that of a grave yard!!!!!!
Service was okay - ordered wine and the server didn’t even bother to pour the first glass for us. Just put the bottle in the table. Expensive food for the quality. The garlic bread with cheese was delicious and worth sharing with the table.
Came here on the first day of restrictions lifting and was met with a delightfully warm welcome. We were invited into the courtyard - an area that had a gorgeous and softly Italian atmosphere with heaters and carefully positioned plants and decor - the staff were fast, friendly and easy to understand. The food and drink itself was, put simply, some of the best I've had. We had a bottle of Chardonnay, a starter and a main 1 bruscietta, 1 cannelloni and 2 risottos and every bite, every tipple of wine lingered with a stunning taste of heaven. I don't live near Ledbury and was there on holiday but I am tempted to come back just to dine here again. BEAUTIFUL
