Fabulous Mother's Day Meal. Food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing and the service was fantastic. A great treat.
Lovely menu. Attentive, friendly staff serving beautifully cooked and well presented food. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend. Particularly enjoyed the marshmallow and raspberry cheesecake!
Great little bistro, the food was great, like fine dining at a proper price. the portions seemed a little small at first, but after taking your time enjoying the different textures and tastes we all felt surprisingly full. Everyone agreed that the food was tasty and presented really well and it was nice to eat quality and not quantity. A couple of craft ales priced normally and a good selection of wine, pleasant and quick service thank you Alice, rounded off a very pleasant evening. We will certainly be back.
Service is excellent. Waitresses were very efficient and helpful. The food however was uninspiring and did not live up to expectation. Starter of brie was the thinnest slice with some salad to fill the plate. The blade of beef in red wine jus was lacking in flavour. We all seemed to have the same sauce with different dishes, none of which tasted of anything specific. Get the flavours right and a better portion size and I'll be back for more.
This is the first time I've eaten at the olive tree and what a experience I've had. Friendly staff a decent chef and food to die for. Just a simple lunch a small menu and boy the food was extraordinary. Definitely coming back soon probably tomorrow.
Was a regular when the previous owners were there. Thought I would give it a try under new management. Very friendly but the menu was not as extensive as you would expect for £18 for 3 courses, and if you were expecting large portions you would be disappointed. However, what I did have was very tasty. Will not be going again until the menu is extended.
It was empty. There is definitely no need to book in the week. It was over priced and the meal, whilst it was well made-up, was mediocre in quality. Atmospherically, the vibes were awkward as there were 3 waiters and no other tables. Maybe it was just a bad night, but I felt disappointed with the feel of the room. Unsurprisingly, however, the survive was really fast! Wouldn't recommend unless the rest of Lichfield is heaving. Also, the desserts were limited and the cheese cake made my father quite ill the next day.
My meal was beautifully cooked. My husband's cod sauce was way too salty. The restaurant staff immediately offered to rectify it and the chef cooked a less salty one for him. Good food and great service. A must!
Really excellent food and service. I took a party of 12 from work and whilst they took a while to initially take the order, we ended up managing to get through three courses in an hour, which is really impressive. And the food was some of the best I have had.
Had a fantastic meal, service relaxed but attentive, amazing atmosphere. Scallop and brown shrimp, so fresh! Sea Bass was delicious, perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend
