Had a fantastic meal here today. The host from Toronto was a really pleasant man, looked after me and my family so well and served fantastic food. Not sure about the negative reviews of late but I couldn't rate it more highly. Great service, incredibly good value and really tasty food. Will be back very soon.
Order via deliveroo. -Four cheese pasta was basically just plain pasta, minimum sauce, bland and flavourless. -Seafood pasta had the same problem as above. -Both garlic pizza breads where burnt to a crisp. Disappointing and won't ever be buying again. EDIT UPDATE 3 MONTHS ON: Since trying their pizza I've fallen in love with them now, the four cheese pizza is amazing. Their customer service is really great, and they've totally rectified their mistakes.
Have gotten pizza from here a couple of times and that's been ok, however this time we decided to try something else and went for lasagne........ Served on its own with not even a leaf of salad and we both then discovered we had basically been served a dish of sauce and layers upon layers of cheese, there was probably one single sheet of pasta in there if that!! If ur chef doesn't know how to make lasagne you shouldn't have it on the menu. Very very disappointing
Sorry guys but that is uneatabl. Burn from the outside raw and gummy inside chicken milanese. All food super dry. Wish to get my money back. I always go to your place to eat pizza as I think it's actually good. I though your food will be in similar style but this is just crime to chicken.
Disgusting phone service. I ordered two items from here from ubereats, the woman who was supposed to deliver my order never turned up, I called up this place to explain the situation and to reorder again to be "greeted" with a member of staff who was very rude and unhelpful. After explaining what had happened the staff member said in the rudest tone "what's the problem" I am not blaming my food not being delivered to this restaurant but when i pay over £13 for your food it is your problem. I then explained what happened again which he replied back rudely again "do you want to reorder" I said yes I will reorder through the ubereats app again, he then just hung up the phone, no apology, explanation or anything. When I tried to call again they decided not to pick up. I hope the rest of the staff do not treat customers in such a rude and disgusting way, whoever spoke to me on the phone please learn how to treat your customers nicely over the phone when they are giving you money. The food was ok but not worth £13, I will not be ordering from here again.
Service was good and the food good as always, the place was busy with also loads of take away, the guys were manage it fine with a decent buzz too, when suddenly one person, which i assume was the owner, came in and start to tell the guys off in front of all customer, then at one point he took them on the back and we could hear him shouting at them. This is unacceptable, i have over 20 years experience in the field managing teams of 30 people and this person should be kept away as he really demages the business, he ruined my meal and part of my evening. I have to write this review as i love to go there and the team members are nice and friendly but the owner is extremely rude with the team and i that is totally unfair. I will still go but i hope this person won't spoil my meal again.
Had a lavely meal at the restaurant. I tried the chicken and veggie soup which was delicious. I will come again for sure and try some of the other dishes they have to offer. Would recommend to anybody that wants to experience a bit of Italy in a cosy place. Fair prices and nice atmosphere. Lovely staff as well.
Absolutely horrendous service. Made a mistake with my order then were beyond rude and refused to correct their mistake and denied fault at all. Ridiculous. Not only ended up stuck with a meal I did not order and being completely disrespected but also the food which I tried was pretty lousy anyway. Not impressed. Do not recommend.
Uneatible pizza, new staff is slow and too serious,, when I went there few days ago it was also freezing cold, when I complaint about it, only answer was " what can I do?"! Also,check your receipt... They aren't paying any VAT. I wanted to ask about it, but manager is never there. A place to avoid!
We ordered pizza and we could actually taste the mould on it... not sure if it's from the dough, or everything, but it has resulted in me getting food poisoning. Not recommended.
