Excellent food, location, and service. There was a large variety of vegetarian and meat dishes, and each one we ordered had a unique and tasty flavour. Overall we had 2 breads and 7 tapas for 4 adults, which was sufficient quantity and every single one was loved and eaten! Service was attentive but not intrusive - the perfect balance. Location is right outside of the castle, with indoor and outdoor seating - very centrally located. Honestly I wished I had captured more of the good photos - I was just too consumed with the tasty food to remember to snap pics for the later wave of dishes!
Very cosy and intimate restaurant set over two floors, in a lovely location between the cathedral and the castle. We went on a Wednesday evening, and the restaurant was relatively busy so it may be advisable to book in advance. You are given plenty of time to order, with a recommendation of 2-3 tapas per person. Portions are well-sized, and varied. The only reason I haven't given this 5 stars is the time it took for our six servings to come to the table was longer than I would have liked; as also paying £6.50 for a very basic salad is excessive. That said the chorizo in red wine was heavenly, as well as the dates in Serrano ham, and on this basis alone if we revisit Lincoln, I'd have no hesitation in returning here.
Excellent service here. The food was so amazing! Some of the best I've had in a while. Loved the flavours. They even accommodated to a vegan at our table which was very nice. Although the options were small, so an improvement could be to expand their vegan range and label those options on the menu. The wine was also excellent. Loved the vibes and the building. Thank you for a great dinner
Lovely little place. So cute inside and the food was incredible. We went for lunch and it was very reasonable, the portions are really big we certainly didn’t leave hungry. The staff were very friendly. Highly recommend and will definitely go again.
Food acceptable but absolutely not authentic quality Spanish food. My wife an I have worked for a major Spanish company for 25 years so know what it should be like. We also know that all the tapas is not brought out together so it gets cold!! From sitting down to paying the bill and leaving was an hour. Speed-tapas! We suggest to ask them to bring them out slower..
What a find!!! Food is great the dishes we had were tasty and full of flavourPortion sizes good. Staff friendly and helpful. The ambience was perfect… will definitely come here again!
The food is amazing! They do a cracking mojito, the feel is so strange. All wooden and small dining rooms, very unique!

Really enjoyed it, couldn't fault the flavour or atmosphere albeit their roulade desert was ruined by excessive cinnamon that wasn't even mentioned on the menu. Main complaint was portion size to cost ratio, been to a few tapas but was quite small here. Cost for the lamb plate which says shanks plural on the menu but was a very small lamb leg and nearly £15 which was really over priced, especially as it tasted concerningly like the asda extra special slow cooked shanks I often buy. We spent £85 for two spread over 6 dishes and I wasn't full which isn't good.. Especially after the long trek up the steep hill which worked up my appetite. Recommend you get breads to help fill you
Fabulous Spanish tapas in a stunning location between Lincoln Cathedral and Castle. We sat outside, in the shade. Lovely staff too. Perfect.
