Have never met such helpful people when trying to delve into newspaper archives even down to dropping off cuttings to me hotel that evening Thanks so much

The staff here are amazing, I've needed to use the local archives for several months and I feel at home everytime I come. The staff are always extremely helpful, and friendly. And the resources are looked after and presented well.  The staff truly make this place.

Such a wonderful resource for the town to have the archive and staff to access this material. As a local person I found them very helpful and patient with my requests. I can’t praise them enough.

Very helpful staff. Good range of books etc. Great place to research most things local,  as well as family history etc.

It was interesting going to look around the local studies and archives as part of a film project I did with Gallery Oldham for Oldham's Takeaways which is currently on display there now only for a year.

Enjoy going to the archives once a week I am a volunteer  translator but due illness  I am unable to attend. The staff and other volunteers are very friendly.
