Brilliant night, great company, staff were very hospitable would definitely recommend.
The decor is a bit of a blast from the past! I suspect it's unlikely to be renovated or glammed up in anyway anytime soon, but it's a decent pub with a good atmosphere. It's clear most of the clientele are regulars but I found them to be a friendly bunch. The barman Davie is a character and adds to the experience.
Nice enough wee boozer. Disappointed with the lack of Golden Root Complex available from the vending machine. Some of the regulars, whom i think i attended school with although the bevvy has taken it's toll on them, still great lads who like a good swally. 9/10 would attend again
Corey was a very good bartender he pours morgans like a pro! Judy served us an ace ! Happy hour was fantastic all drinks 50p between 10 and 11. Corey juggling fire was a particular highlight and judy walking the tight rope was intence!! Good pub all round!!
Great pub - high stakes poker played for cash in the back room and Eastern European hookers in the basement, clean girls too, nae shite. Classy operation. 10/10, would recommend to anyone looking for an evening of entertainment and boozing. I'm joking of course, it's shite and there is no illegal activities on offer.
Quite frankly, I would rate this hovel a zero or less if I could. - The service is poor and slow with very little variety or choice. - The interior decor is dreary, out-dated and the seats are rickety and hugely uncomfortable. - The staff certainly the owner are cantankerous, unhelpful, rude and aggressive. - The facilities are little more than an unkept hole in the ground. - Food? Sure! What flavour would you like your out-of-date crisps, nuts and confectionery? As far as I'm concerned, pubs dont get much worse than this one, and the added attitude make for a truly unbearable drinking experience. I would advise extreme caution to anyone willing to risk venturing into this obnoxious back-water hell-hole, because the staff and locals alike treat outsiders as unwelcome pests, who should be villified and ousted as a matter of urgency... ironically - the only thing they treat with any semblance of importance. With plenty pubs in the general area, I would avoid if at all possible.
Great wee local pub with brilliant atmosphere and friendly staff.
Friendly pub with amazing staff never a stranger in here... hostesses with the mostessess lol X
Called in for a beer a few weeks ago and liked the bar. Friendly staff and a good pint. Will be back
First time visit. Obvious that has regular clientele some of who view strangers with suspicion. Quick service and decent pint of lager and a nice brandy.
