Wow an unexpected gem! Was looking for a pub with a good craft beer selection which they def have and a cosy space also have and so ended up here. Saw they had Mexican food before going but didn't really intend to get any full disclosure, I'm an American expat and have been burned by disappointing Mexican food in the UK one too many times, so have a bit of a "fool me twice" complex. BUT we got hungry while enjoying all our beers and the atmosphere so decided to get the tacos, chips, salsa & guac, and wouldn't you know, it was some of the best we've ever had in London. Really well done, quality and authentic ingredients. Salsa in particular was the most legit one I have found here. Finished off with the churros and cried tears of joy aaaaand one last beer. ; Planning to go back ASAP for burritos and nachos! Super nice, friendly staff that knows their beers, too. Will be back soon!
Amazing Mexican food especially the nachos and flautas ! Very extensive beer selection, friendly and accommodating staff - especially the lovely blonde girl who’s name escapes me! and great atmosphere. True local pub, such a cozy place to pass the time, call me a regular from now on!
Really nice place, not overly busy but good atmosphere. Fab margaritas. Good Mexican food.
Not sure why there are so many good reviews. We visited on Sunday lunch time. Service is decent as it is empty. Food and drinks are really bad. Everything is burnt and tasteless.
Love the OTT! Great pub, probably our favourite in clapham and a huge fan of their no booking policy that every other pub in clapham seems to have adopted that you need a reservation to have a pint! Nice to be able to turn up somewhere and be welcomed by the staff! Great selection of beers and the Mexican food is great. We went on a Thursday night for a quiet drink and ended up staying for far more than anticipated because of the live music!
Excellent vibe, team and really kind customers too. If you want to experience Clapham Common style you will be happy there
Neat little pub. The service was great and the food was tasty. I didn't expect mexican food, but it was quite good.
Fantastic selection of beers 20 or so in total, of all different styles and lovely, welcoming staff. We also ate dinner here, which was very nice. The burritos and nachos are well worth ordering, although the chicken wings were a little on the small side.
Nice selection of craft and local beers. The place was buzzing and the vibe was very cosy.
Great little pub, wasn't expecting the food to be good but it was! My only complaint is that our tacos were totally cold, but it was a busy night with a pub quiz that meant the place was packed. I didn't have to wait long for food and the salsa, guacamole and chips were delicious. Would happily try again on a less busy day!
