Food was dramatically over priced, ribs were cooked good but lacked flavour, curry sauce was clumpy which is not a word that should be associated with a sauce! Salt and pepper chicken and chips were great
January 2023 Excellent food, friendly people, for this reason, recommended. As mentioned below you do pay a premium compared to other Chinese takeaways in Telford so you should take that into consideration. I referred to the price of salt and chilli chips below - they have actually increased the price further to £5.70 from the price six months ago. July 2022 One of our regulars and I do recommend it. Polite people and very good food. Only real criticism is the the fact prices are continually increasing higher than inflation and higher than other places. To charge £5.20 for salt and chilli chips - I enjoy your food Old town but please be reasonable with your prices. You can't seriously charge 5.20 for chips in a box with a bit of salt and chilli - be reasonable and loyal to your customers
Never had a problem here. Very accommodating, friendly man and woman behind the counter, looks clean and tidy, prices are reasonable. One downside is the low selection of drinks, maybe something other than coke would be nice. The food arrives tasty and hot. When I have been in they always seem very busy but quick with service.
I have been here around 10 times over the past year or so and i really can't complain. I only live a street away so the food is always hot and delicious. Salt and pepper chips are a must. the only negative is i prefer the Singapore noodles from other places but theirs are still pretty damn good

first time ordering. Never had Singapore fried rice like that before. Stir-fried in curry sauce. Not good, prawn toast was not even cut, one big slab of prawn toast, couldn't be bothered to divide it. wouldn't have been an issue if i wasn't paying for it. Delivered by the unwashed.
Pleasant experience served by very friendly staff. Food is served very hot and you don't have to wait long. We observed staff waiting to take deliveries, they were very smartly dressed and the vehicles they were using were very clean. The shop itself was immaculate and signage for covid 19 masks was clearly marked on the window. Will always use Old Town either going into the premises or having food delivered.
Horrible chicken wings never had chicken Chinese chilli and salt like these still with the wings nails on them never buying again and no salt.
I was a regular customer here at Old Town, I had a freezing cold meal here and rang up to let them know....... the woman who I spoke to never apologised and basically called me a liar and shouted down the phone at me. I asked to speak to the manager and she said they don't speak english. Simply put...... I will never go here again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Thank you for your reply but I’m still confused as to the explanation about food quality and the reason for its decline, as for the portion size they have got smaller I understand that may be a costing issue but not when you stick £0.70 on nearly everything. Two key elements that seem to be missing in your reply….. I am disappointed we have used you for a long time but currently I’m not prepared too and certainly wouldn’t recommend.
