This place has a really old fashioned welcoming feel when you walk in the door. Unfortunately it takes itself far to seriously. Maybe Knutsford does this to places. Service was coldly efficient. Smile and welcome would have been nice. Food was okay but a fish pie should be more than peas and salmon in a pie!

Have eaten here a number of times with friends and family and have enjoyed each occasion. Great food and atmosphere.

Good selection of drinks, food always looks really good but not tried yet. Not alot of seating in the bar area but enough in the restaurant.would recommend booking Saturday and Sunday it always looks busy.

Called in on the way to the Lake District. Very nice ambience. Husband had the best liver ever!
