One of the most beautiful venues I have visited and perfect for a wedding, whatever the weather. There is a walkway from the carpark to the glass church, which is well lit at night. There's plenty of space for guests to sit both in the stone building and in the marquee complete with log fire and beautiful gardens to walk around.
The Old Rectory is an amazing location for a wedding. I have had the pleasure of photographing gorgeous weddings here! You have so many areas for photos throughout the estate, from The House, to the Landscaped Gardens, to the Restored 17th Century Barn, you have it all. We can not recommend The Old Rectory venue and Staff high enough! From start to finish the entire day and service was faultless. Beautiful people with a sincerity to make your wedding day the most special day and the delivered way above our expectations. We can’t thank the team enough the venue is a little piece of heaven! Fell in love with the venue immediately. Had a bottle of champagne waiting in the fridge on the day we went to view it. I just knew it was going to be the venue for us.nThe service we received from day one was amazing. Kind, warming and so welcoming and helpful every step of the way. Special mention to Ciara who we built a relationship with from day one and she kept us right all the way to the big day.nThe venue speaks for itself - breath taking. It rained all day on our wedding day and there was no let up. This did not dampen our day. There was an umbrella at every turn for every guest and we were able to capture some amazing fun photos being out in the rain. The only day in September that it rained!nThe barn is a gem, the main reason we chose the venue, the tee pee was an addition to the venue after we had viewed it and boy does it bring another element to the place. A fantastic feature.nThe day was unforgettable, the guests have commented how amazing the venue is and how much they enjoyed the day from start to finish. We stayed in the house and had guests stay in the gate lodge too. Beautifully finished rooms and was lovely having somewhere to stay. Chris and I would like to thank Ciara, Emma and Paul for a wonderful wedding experience and to all the staff that held an umbrella over our heads, served us food and drinks flawlessly, had the craic with us and overall made our day so special and one we will never forget.
