Great, friendly service and good sized portions of delicious food. The bread platter with hummus, balsamic vinegar and olives was delicious. We also noted that there are several vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Would definitely recommend.
Ordered a bakewell tart for home delivery. Arrived promptly and was well-packed so survived the journey well. However, very small and therefore not good value for money at all £13!!, tiny amount of jam and an overly-baked filling. Wouldn’t recommend.
Amazing customer service. We had afternoon tea upstairs in the restaurant. Comes with coffee and Prosecco. Priced at £55 it was delicious but we took the top tier home. Personally I’d have smaller portions and reduce the price. But it was a holiday treat and very much enjoyed. Plenty of choice on the menu. Would definitely return.
Authentic and well run. Covid secure cafe with good coffee and lovely jammy Bakewell pudding. The custard was excellent too! A bit overpriced in my view, but not in RIP-off territory.
Amazing little restaurant and store steeped in history with genuine links to the origin of the famous British dessert. They serve excellently executed pub grub staples and the service is impeccable. You've not had a bakewell dessert until you've tasted the Bakewell pudding served here
Great place lovely people and a great shop but the best thing is the Bakewell Puddings and Tarts
