My wife and I had our micro wedding reception at Stoke Mill in November 2022, and we’re so pleased that we did. In the lead up to our big day the owner Ludo was hugely accommodating and took the time to go through every aspect of the day with us, which made us feel completely at ease knowing we were in good hands.

We had considered other venues, but for us Stoke Mill ticked all the boxes, the food and service is amazing we had previously eaten here so knew their high standards. The actual venue itself is beautiful inside, it’s very close to the city centre ideal for us as we got married at the Norwich Castle however it’s still completely private and secluded with lots of beautiful spots for photos, they stock local wines, there’s plenty of parking, and finally we could play our own music through their speaker system! Small details but they were important to us!

Special mention to the chef and waiting staff who were working on the day, the food was incredible and the staff were all extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble, thank you, it really was the most perfect day.
Went here for our anniversary. The service was really good. Even though they got our main wrong they quickly replaced it with the correct meal. The staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. While it was a tad expensive as a special occasion it was worth it. Would certainly go back.
Enjoyed a lovely 3 course menu for £30, all presented to a high standard, the minute steak was cooked to perfection, adding the little appetizers just puts the icing on the cake. Update. 16th Sept. Enjoyed another lovely meal at the Mill. Cost has now gone up to £33, but a small glass of wine and a coffee included, still excellent value for very tasty food and excellent service. Vegetarian options: Limited, but good Parking: Easy,plenty
Lost a star, and almost 2, for the fact that one of the senior front of house staff could do with reminding how to speak to colleagues, especially in ear shot of guests, phrases like “I’ll chop your head off” don’t have much place in any work environment. However, the remaining staff were great and the food, atmosphere and setting all excellent and so it feels unfair to not provide a just review on that basis.

Had a fantastic three course meal here, you cannot fault the service or the food, absolutely brilliant. Well presented and beautifully flavoured, can't wait to go back.
Excellent food, good selection of wine and great sevice. On par with starred restaurants. The single vegetarian option was butternut squash risotto which was superb.
Do try this..you won't be disappointed! Lovely venue, spacious and attractive dining room, attentive and delightful staff and really superb food. The set luncheon was beautifully presented, adequate portions and wonderful flavours. Best of all was to be so carefully looked after regards a dietary restriction. Absolutely top notch! So eager to eat that l forgot to photograph the main course!
It has been many years since we went to Stoke Mill and so glad we returned. Went for lunch, for main we both had the Halibut with King prawns, mussels, squid, paella rice,lobster bisque, the way everything was cooked was excellent, so tasty, for dessert we had the Hot Chocolate Fondant, it was heaven. The lunch was expensive but well worth it, the staff were very pleasant and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend.
The food was excellent. Is what you expect from a fine dinning restaurant. Service was good and everything in the menu was explain. Wine selection is pretty good with plenty of choices for everyone. I recommend for a fine dining experience in a warm environment.Food: 5/5
