Stayed here for 2 nights and had our meals here. Very friendly staff, some being the family of the owner. The bar is cosy with an open fire. Food was excellent, between us we had homemade pies, lamb shank and belly pork. Fruit crumble was a real treat. Rooms were quaint, but with heating in bathroom not working it could have been a problem in colder days. Fortunately we had good weather. Would visit again.
Food and location excellent. The bedroom could do with an update bathroom door sticking and shower small. Could have more choice of beers in the bar. Lots of lager but no real choice over beer. Over all a nice place.Rooms: 3/5
I can't rate the rooms as I only went for a meal. What a beautiful place so rustic inside beautiful outside. The meal and service was outstanding I will be going back. Make sure to order your food when you book your table as not to be disappointed on the night as they do sell out.Service: 5/5
Sunday Dinner ok but pudding! Please don't have the so called sticky toffee pudding! Could not eat, over baked and in runny oil yes runny oil slick not toffee. And waited a long time and had to ask another waitress for the pudding which was not worthwhile. Booked in for the night! Didn't bother was not worthwhile.Hotel highlightsQuiet
Lovely place, rooms countryish & nice. Food very good. Quiet in January when we stayed, but sat in bar with big log fire! Walkability: Dark roads in winter, but lovely in summer Food & drinks: Very good meals
