Visited Looe in Cornwall museum was closed but had a good look around the town again,this is one of my favourite Cornish sea side places.
Must visit!! Small but full of history, well documented for the inquisitive visitor. £2 entry which last the summer.

Very interesting building, lots about local history.
We stumbled accross this place whilst visiting looe and decided to go in - what a lovely little find - the kids were given quizes, word searches and colouring sheets upon entry and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit!
Lovely little museum with lots of historical items and information about Looe. Staff are volunteers and were friendly and helpful. Due to covid only 4 visitors are allowed in the museum at a time - which was one couple in each room when we visited. Online booking is required and was easy to do.
No parking or toilets here. Disabled access is not hereI don't think. Steps up to the museum. £2 entryI think!! you can't beat that. For a little venue, there is a lot to see, I would say it was very interesting. There are two floors, you go up to get in but go down to the ground floor once inside. There is a jail on the ground floor with many interesting artifacts and stories to read. Support the community and for a couple of quid it's damn good value, expect to lose at least an hour maybe. Got my approval.

Fantastic little museum for everything Looe. If your like me and read every info board you will find yourself wiling away over an hour... Loved the story by the staff about the flying fortress crash landing on a sandbank near Millendreath and saving the Looe residents.. They even have a part of the wing in the museum.... We'll worth the very small entry fee with free readmission for the rest of the holiday season...
