This is in a fantastic location with outdoor seating right on the sea front. We ordered food to take-away and disappointingly they were out of stock of a number of items on an already small menu. However, the staff were very friendly and the service was fast.

Beef burger good. Lamb burger good. Scampi good. Steak average. Felt like we were the forgotten customers. Friendly service but it shouldn't take 2hrs to serve a 2 course meal.
The 4 of us had a fabulous dinner. We all had something different, and each meal was great. You couldnt fault the service : friendly and efficient. We will be going back!
Food is good. However, there is a very limited menu and it's more like a fish and chip cafe not that they do fish and chips than a bar/restaurant. Bitter very expensive at £4.50 a pint.
I love the Old Fort! Great food, drinks and view
Great location looking out over the Solent where you can sit on the sea wall and enjoy a pint and your food. Food is decent nothing special but what you would expect from a pub! Would definitely recommend and staff were lovely!
