Very friendly , rooms were comfortable clean and warm with ensuite shower etc . Had steak in the evening which was cooked perfectly to my liking. Breakfast in the morning was just great lots of it too inclusive of room price. If passing again I'd definitely stop again . Thanks
Booked in for party of 4 for lunch. Food and service outstanding, as usual. Very reasonable prices. Shame about the log wait but the place was packed out which shows the inn provides a great service. Well recommended.
We Had lunch today at this lovely clean homely,friendly,pub, had the lunch menu liver and bacon mash and peas for £6.95, and Ham egg and chips, would thoroughly recommend, going back soon! Returned today, not disappointed, great food and staff , booked Christmas Dinner for 26 neighbours and us ,can't wait
Friendly staff and great information about local area. Stayed for the night in Room 1 and all I can say is wow lovely room, comfy bed. Dinner was also great with amazing food.

Food was okay but probably won't return as it wasn't much special. Service was slow and they didn't take a drinks order from the table. Not a lot of choice for beer or soft drinks, beer tasted a bit off. No vegetarian roast on the menu but if you ask they can do itService: 3/5

We went here for lunch we didn't book but they found room for us. We were served quickly and the food was very good.Service: 5/5
Beautful decor inside this interesting old pub with multiple dining rooms and bar areas. Attention by the friendly staff put me at ease and the food from the very good range on offer from the menu and specials was perfectly cooked and tasty. Definitely worth going out if your way for. We visited Misomer Norton afterwards and did a lovely autumn walk along the wooded path to Radstock.
