Highly recommend. Attended tender succulent workshop, which was excellent. The talk was very interesting, jam packed with extremely useful information. The practical part was inspirational and everyone from what l could see thoroughly enjoyed being creative making miniature gardens from great resources.Refreshments tea/coffee and homemade cake such a delicious bonus, gluten free too. An exceptionally high quality workshop. Gardens filled with plants which you can purchase, lots of pathways with seating. I bought a a super succulent which l have never seen elsewhere for reasonable price. Amazing hostas, succulents,ferns, peonies and much more. Can wait to return to see the Michaelmas daisies in bloom later this year, and book to attend snowdrop workshop next year.
In Malvern on holiday, searched the app for gardens locally, and this came up. What an absolute treat and inspiration of a place, with a great welcome!! Small but felt bigger and the opportunity to buy one of the flowers I loved seeing. We came away with lots of ideas for the garden we want to grow one day. Highly recommend going!nnBonus for the lovely doggie who kept bringing me sticks to throw!
Spring abd Autumn are my favourite times to visit. Snowdrop collection in the Spring and michaelmas daises in the autumn. Both are a feast for the eyes. Free entry if you are an RHS member but £5 if not. That gives you entry to the Gardens entry to Nursery only is free.
Lovely gardens which I think are only open certain days of the year See Open Gardens Scheme. So many plants to look at for this time of year and their sheepdog is adorable. Would visit again in Summer just to see what the planting scheme is like then.
Housing the RHS collection of Michealmas Daisies, this is a little gem if you love plants and gardening. It's only open in August to October as that's when the Asters are at their best so check the website before you travel but it is a lively tranquil site to walk around in spite of the main road which runs adjacent to it.nThe pathways take you on a delightful tour of what is essentially someone's working garden. Only £3.50 admission and there are lots of plants to buy when you exit through the Nursery.
