Everyone will talk about how this pub is the new heart of Wombourne, and has took reign as the village's best pub. The staff there are lovely and never mind a chat, it is well managed by Debbie. Good run-around staff to keep the pub tidy. It's bright inside, unlike some other pubs. 1 natural fireplace, 1 artificial. Good selection of Ales, 3 BCA, and the rest are a variation that change often. Something for everyone. Very dog friendly. Very good price on food. Nice community.
Love the new Revamp. Played Bingo yesterday and was so much fun! Cobs are huge and tasty just wish you could have a plain cob- no salad or tomato. Great atmosphere
Went while visiting my parents as they have raved about it since it opened. Went back every day we were down from the north east. Wish we had pubs like this up here. Cobs are amazing. Beer choice brilliant. It’s a good reason to visit my parents more frequently . My daughter measured a cob against her head. Same size.
Very good pub, with a great range of beers and absolutely brilliant cobs and pork pies.nThey offer all the usual Black Country ales and some others from local and national breweries, also the usual lagers and ciders on. The cobs are massive and very tasty and the pork pies delicious. On the occasions I have been in, the pub has been reasonably busy but the staff are good and efficient so I have never had to wait too long to get served.nIt’s hard to fault the pub, I’m looking forward to my next visit.
Beautiful pub inside and out. Very friendly people behind the bar.nCobs are amazing and only £3.50 each. They also do pork pies £2.25 each and sausage rolls £1.80 each.nWe had a Cheese and onion, a Cheese onion and black pudding, a Ham and tomato and a Ham salad.nGreat range of real ales. Would definitely recommend a visit.
