Having driven past this old established pub on many occasions I decided to visit for lunch. I was not disappointed. The dining area is comfortable and the service was excellent from the friendly, welcoming staff. The food was extremely good and reasonably priced. It certainly won't be my last visit there and I would recommend it to friends and family
Just visited for food for the first time,good menu selection and generous portions, staff were friendly and food served piping hot with a modest wait,which was worth it as all meals were tasty and cooked perfectly. Good selection of beers and moderately priced. Highly recommended
Really lovely pub, very good food, good ale Butty Bach and excellent staff and value for money. Definitely one to mark down as a 10. WELL DONE.

Small but friendly pub with good parking and outdoor space.
I've been at various times over the years. Last time was for a quiz. The pub was very busy and I struggled to find a place to sit. Drinks are quite cheap. The quiz was enjoyable - I'd certainly recommend that it is £2 per person, although their website said £2 per team. It's one of the better quizzes I've been to - prompt 7:30 start and just under 2 hours to complete 6 rounds. I'm not sure what the pub is like for other things but I'll definitely be back for the Wednesday night quiz.
Pub is very fresh and clean after its re-furb. Staff lovely and friendly. Food smashing. Had fish and chips. Just right amount and very tasty.
Really nice pub, stopped on way to watch Wrexham play Coventry and everyone was really welcoming, food was spot on.
Great sunday lunch !
