A good place with a good choice of meals and cake. The seating is also good outside or in. Apart from the standard menu they very good specials. Today's one of the specials was lasagna and it was really good some of our group had the classic and others had vegetarian lasagna and both tasted great and we all enjoyed it. Tried to varieties of cake all good. They also ha e ice-cream section on one side tried a few flavors again all good.
Great cafe on the edge of the village inside and outside seating. Extensive menu home-baked cakes. Great service.Recommend a visit
We called in for lunch before our Circular walk from malham to Janet‘s Foss and across Gordale scar to the top of the Cove and back down to the village , We had a burger and a Bacon and Brie toastie and two lattes coming to a total of just over £19 which we think is very good value for money, The CAFE was very busy clean and the staff were very polite with plenty of outdoor seating .The CAFE is also dog friendly , I can highly recommend this CAFE on your visit to Malham for A full meal or just one of the lovely cakes
Great place to stop for great tasting food and drink before heading up the cove. Would definitely recommend. A+
Nice tea room with a variety of cake, sandwiches and other meals. Reasonably priced, the place to ho in Malham if you are looking for tea, coffee or some refreshments.
I recently visited a cafe in Malham, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a cosy and inviting atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. The decor was charming, with a warm colour palette and soft lighting that created a welcoming ambiance. The staff at the cafe were incredibly polite and friendly, going out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. They were attentive and responsive to our needs, making sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. What really set this cafe apart, however, was the generosity of the staff. We were visiting Malham without a vehicle and were stranded in the town without a way to get back to Skipton, which was 11 miles away. Despite our best efforts to find a ride, no one seemed willing to help us out. That is until the lady from the cafe stepped in and offered to give us a lift back to Skipton. This act of kindness was truly exceptional, and it made all the difference in our trip. Without her help, we would have had to walk for three and a half hours to reach the train station in Skipton, which would have been a difficult and unpleasant experience. Instead, we were able to relax and enjoy the ride back, feeling grateful for the incredible kindness of the staff at the cafe. Overall, I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming environment, excellent service, and exceptional generosity. It's not often that you find a business that goes above and beyond for their customers, but this cafe truly stands out for their exceptional customer service and kindness.
This place is amazing! I had my afternoon tea there after a long trek and it was so good. The owner is the best! They are very generous. We weren’t getting any rides back home so they gave us a lift back home which shows how good they really are! Definitely visit this place and give tea a try!!
Decent tea shop, decent proper at a brew fair price. Hard floor muddy boot friendly. Just needs an open fire! The owners seemed to be having a domestic in the back at the time of our visit and while they didn't project this on to us it's not really what you want to listen to. Perhaps it's how they lives their lives, I'm not one to judge but it didn't make for a good atmosphere.
For a starter we got some soft drinks and hot dogs it was quite disappointing so all end on it, just cheap sausage from a can no salad, nothing in it just sausage. Better get your get your own sandwiches if you going to see Janet Foss. Area nice a lot tourist however disappointed with food and service generic you don't feel welcome there. Updated: You do business as you will, I'm not going to argue with stuff and making drama on place, that's way we have review's. Sadly instead of apologize to the customer or improve service owner/manager prefer argue honest review. Thanks to rude response and accusation of dishonesty one star down. Bad very bad practice!
A wonderful cafe, with a great menu of hot food, drinks and cakes but the best bit is the friendly nature of the staff. Everyone was so welcoming and warm. Thank you, can't wait to visit again!
