This is not the place if you are looking for both a bite to eat and a quick stop. Good milkshakes. Unfortunately I did not enjoy the food here, the burrito was supposed to be Habanero Chicken but it had some sort of ketchup, very sweet, I couldn't finish it The meat in the burger tasted strange and the bun was dry, I couldn't eat it either. The vibe of the place is nice, you get transported back to the fifties and they have friendly staff but unfortunately the food lacks flavour. Vegetarian options: There were options. Parking: Free parking for customers
Good food, service was great, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Refill drinks definitely a bonus! Will definitely visit again if the opportunity arises.
This OK Diner is located off and set back from the A1 Southbound, with a decent sized car park to the side. The space in front is not its car park. Diner was clean, tidy and very Americana styled. Food was a reasonable standard for what is a fast food place, the milkshakes were very good and worth stopping just for them! Service was a friendly, if a little haphazard. My only real issue, which cost them a star was not getting the bill reasonably promptly after asking for it. We had eaten and wanted to get back on the road, so having to sit around was annoying and hard to forgive as they are on the A1! That said we go there again if we were heading down the A1.
This place was a lifesaver. Made a stop last thing on Sunday to break a long journey. Just needed something simple with fries and a strong brew to get me through the rest of my journey, and pleased to say I got what I needed. And despite it being half an hour before closing, the staff were still upbeat and welcoming

Chef microwave is grafting in the kitchen and the food was the best laxative you can get not on prescription. The staff sit you away from the kitchen so they can talk about the customers I would rather eat my own eyeballs than go again. At least the waitress was nice and polite to my face.
I come here regular but after my last experience I will never eat here again. I had the nachos and my friend had a hunters chicken with wings. Both seemed to just be microwaved straight from the freezer. Meat on the nacho resembled sick, while the sauces tasted off. The hunters chicken was so bad the smell made us feel sick. After eating only a few mouthfuls we asked for the bill. The waitress apologised but managers attitude stunk, after seeing we had only tasted the food the manager said we are only eligible for a 15% discount. The experience was so bad we had lost our appetite and didn’t eat for the rest of the evening. Avoid at all costs, one of the most shocking meals I’ve ever paid for. Would of given 0 stars if I could.
Never been in an OK diner before today. 100% surpassed my expectations. Great menu, food well presented and cooked. Staff friendly and welcoming despite us arriving 30 mins before closing. Will definitely stop by again on our travels!
It is what it is and it does the job! American style food diner on the motorway. Good portions, good value, good staff, clean restaurant and toilets had just been cleaned and if it's a burger and chips night with milk shake and ice cream sundae then you'll be happy!
On the whole, a good place to eat. Bit quiet, but very pleasant. Friendly staff, and good service. Enjoyed my burger and drinks. Would have had more but for having to get on way.
