I love fish and chips. Whenever I’m away on staycations, visiting family, or even abroad.. I find the fish and chip shop. With this comes so much fussiness.. I am borderline OCD when it comes to chips. Good fish and chip ‘chips’ are crunchy to look at, but fluffy to bite. Not soggy, and a perfect blend of salt and vinegar. This fish and chip shop is the best fish and chip shop, of all fish and chip shops! Not only are the chips so good, the portion sizes are perfect. The prices are fair and the efficiency at the place amazes me, They have never got an order wrong and I’ve rarely had to wait longer than 10 mins. Is there a bit of a wait on a Friday night? Of course, this is the best fish and chip shop on the planet, it’s going to be a bit busy at the weekend. They are consistently good. You know if you go to any McDonalds, you get the same level of standard every time you go? No matter what day, what time or who’s working. I know if I go get some chips from oh my cod, they will be absolutely astounding. To summarise: Consistency - Always quality food. Efficiency - Always right order & quick Portion sizes - Perfect Prices - Great Value They smash it and set the gold standard for what I look for in fish & chips. By the way, the chicken hash brown burger will make you never return to KFC again!
I was in UK for a vacation. Enjoyed the delicious fish and chips here. Staff named Mathew was very nice. He gave a warm welcome and suggested variety of dishes offered by the restaurant . He was very prompt and friendly. Appreciate his service and hard work .
Thoroughly enjoyed the fish, plenty of tasty fish in lovely light batter and the chips are proper chip shop chips. My mum and dad visited and said that the best fish and chips they have had in a very long time.
Fish & Chips we’re great, it’s was made fast and the staff were police as well as the shop model and clean. However they did not except card and gave the fish and Chips in a plastic bag, rather than a 100% biodegradable bag. Come on “Oh My Cod” this is 2022, be more sustainable!
By far the best fish and chips I’ve come across in the UK. Clean take away, friendly staff, great value for money and delicious. HIGHLY recommend. FYI - cash only
Great to see a good variety of fish for sale rather than just cod and Haddock. I had my old favourite Rock. Would definitely go again service was fast and very friendly.
Truly awful. Don’t understand the reviews. The place is clean and tidy but the fish was wafer thin and batter horrible thick. Chips were not great either. Over cooked. More like fries. Just rubbish

Cod seems to be getting alot smaller , I'd rather pay more and get a proper large cod , the large is not a large anymore , so bit disappointing cooked very well, just please sort out the portion size. Curry sauce is loverly , and by far one of the top fish and chip shopsFood: 4/5
