The best cappuccino I’ve had in the area. Superb americano and latte coffees too. Coffee was strong and flavourful. Their dark chocolate cookies are delightful. People serving were friendly and helpful. Five stars!
Popped in after visiting zoo. Greeted by friendly staff. The dark chocolate brownie was amazingly delicious and the vegan chocolate cranberry flapjack was equally tasty.
Very nice friendly place with lovely food. I had the egg and hash roll........divine!!! The staff were great....dog friendly and great view. First class!!!Food: 5/5
Fantastic family-friendly cafe with high-quality, locally-sourced food, and good views. The scones and cakes are great and the cooked breakfasts looked delicious. The kids loved the dressing up clothes and toy box, although many of the toys are getting a bit worn out now. Small treats for dogs are available outside.
A lovely award winning cafe with a strong emphasis on sustainable eating with an eco-conscious ethos that sets it apart from its peers. As you walk in, you're warmly greeted by the Chef. I love the fact there is no 'counter' as such. I also love the views across Lyme Bay. Parking is provided by the local authority so its not free. But don't let it put you off as its worth it. They do evening meals too, all local and lovely.
This is the best outdoor organic cafe bar restaurant with the best staff & menu in Torbay! Genuinely local ingredients, good value, great views. Electric car charger free with a coffee purchased :
Great new discovery in Shaldon, fantastic setup and really interesting food, came on a very cold day, log fire was struggling to heat the cafe. Will be back when warmer.Food: 5/5
Went for a spot of brunch at the lovely cafe Ode. As always a warm welcome. I went for something simple, the bacon sandwich and as simple as one’s choice was I left feeling nourished and shocked how moorish and yummy it was. Good thick pieces of bacon with a lush sourdough bread roll with a sweet Organic lettuce and a healthy portion of butter. Would recommend to anyone who wants to feel good and energised after eating good food.
OK location is different it's opposite a car park but it strangely tranquil, view of the town & estuary are OK if you like that sort of thing. Food isn't that great, chips are over salty, child's children Mac and cheese was awful and quite small for an 11-14 year old. Burger was good but chips ruined the meal think Mcdonalds on steroids. Scones also were hard a bit over cooked which was a shame. Worst of all was the hot chocolate someone in our family loves hot chocolate but couldn't drink it despite the other reviews it was horrible with a metallic taste. So location and cost was OK but the food as a whole wasn't that good. Hope you enjoy better than we did as it cost £40 but no one really enjoyed the food.
Lovely little café with views across to Teignmouth. Great spot to eat good food while watching the waves.Food: 5/5
