Fabulously fresh haddock even good poached. Biggest fillet we have had in years. Cannot fault anything. Mushy peas also genuine tablet soaked peas, unlike well known local hippies that use tinned " mushy" peas

The scampi is excellent and the chips aren't too greasy

Visited yesterday for the first time, What a wonderful place food great, restaurant clean cool and well laid out. The staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the experience. I suppose we shouldn't praise it too much as it might get too popular and we won't be able to get in. THANK YOU. 7/8/20

I  was disappointed. My wife and two children visited and found 90% of the staff were great the others were at best in interested. A warm pint of larger with two large fish that was on the turn for the wife and I. On the good side the chips and gravy boat of curry sauce was delicious.

I'm honestly not being biased, but this is the best 'sit-down' fish & chip restaurant in Cleethorpes... Plus great artwork on the walls, including two of mine  lol . . . My large ' Cleethorpes Pier ' canvas . . . & ' Grimsby Dock Tower ' canvas. A+++++

Who in their right minds could ever hate this "plaice".  I just wish I didn't live so far away on the south coast so I could visit more often!! Just try to get skate down here!! Love the Ocean Fish Bar so much. Can I take you home with me!!!??? Xxx

Food was greasy & hard to enjoy, had the cod & chips back in April 2017, would recommend but with caution

First rate fish & chips, excellent value using the 'specials' menu, we also took our 3 years old granddaughter who had a child's portion fish & chips, she ate it all, very friendly staff and quick service. Very clean, I rate it better than Papas.

I was very impressed with the way they have dealt with covid 19. There was plenty of space and all staff had ppe. The food was excellent as usual. I had the regular haddock and couldn't fault it, definitely will be going again.

Nice fish and chips, good covid procedures. Friendly staff, however seemed quite keen to get bill to me after clearing the table.
