Really nice fish and chips, online delivery allows you to select extra salt and vinegar and a slice of lemon. For some reason, the portions of chips and size of fish is much larger than the other Ocean Blue in Tycroes. Our new favourite!
Perfect fish and chips. It appeared that everything they served was all freshly cooked in front of us while we waited, the chips were the perfect flavour.nnWas a little bit of a wait, but we had a large order and I felt it was the perfect weigh off for having piping hot food still when we arrived back to where we was staying.
I am extremely disappointed. Half the chips I ordered were either cold or raw. I ordered two cod bits only to revived 1 singular cod bite. Who orders just one cod bite? The curry sauce was watery and the code bite was tasteless. The value for money from this place is extremely poor and the care towards what they are serving people is little to none, would not recommend
Ordered and paid for food for a family of three in advance, but the food wasn't ready at the time we'd booked it for. This was disappointing as we had to then wait around - what's the point in offering collection slots if they aren't adhered to?nnThe food we had was even more disappointing. I don't think I've ever had a worse meal. I had a fishcake and chips with a bread roll. The fishcake tasted fousty - like it was on the turn. The bread roll was so stale it was completely inedible and the chips were the worst part. They were dark brown and like they had been cooked two or three times. A layer of crispiness on the outside with a layer of oil, then the actual chip.nnThey were so bad that my teenager, who will eat anything, went without food after trying one. That says a lot!
Ordered a late-decision meal online nice and easy process for pickup just before closing time. Upon arrival, a good-to-see thorough clean-up was underway. Whilst waiting for the chips to finish cooking, I had a lovely chat with the friendly gents behind the counter.nBack at home, we unwrapped a mountain of chips - and we only ordered standard portions - which were perfectly cooked. The Irish curry sauce was delicious too!
