Ocean bathrooms renovated my bathroom, Joe completely re-designed the space making it work allot better and creating more space. The finished bathroom looks amazing and I am so happy with it. The fittings are all very good quality and their fitting team were very clean, tidy and made the experience very easy and I am very happy with the finished bathroom. I could not recommend them enough.

Ocean have been our go-to bathroom supplier for over five years now. As builders, we have completed over fifty bathroom projects in this time and have no hesitation in recommending Rob and his team. Fast efficient turnaround on quoting, reliable delivery service, and more importantly their in depth product knowledge and creative designs are a consistent talking point among our customers.

We used Ocean Bathrooms to help us refurbish a quirky shower room in our new home. Joe Muehl handled the design, which was not staightforward since the room is tall and thin, with limited natural light and uneven walls and floors. Joe came up with the suggestion of slate - large tiles with beautiful colors and texture - which work extremely well and actually make the room feel more spacious. The Bridport showroom has a wide variety of products, both tiles and fittings and equipment, on show in real bathroom situations so it's easier to make your choices. The company uses CGIs to let you see what your choices will look like in your own home so there were no bad surprises later on. Ocean has a lovely family firm feel to it. The service is personal, responsive and helpful. Once we had made our choices, ordering, delivery and installation took place as expected, to time and to budget. Just as important, since we were new to the area, Joe introduced us to a fitter and electrician who were superb. As always, once installation starts issues come up that need to be dealt with - they were all resolved efficiently and effectively. We will have more refurbishment to do - so we'll be back.

The real measure of any business is when you have a genuine complaint. We had two new bathrooms fitted by Ocean Bathrooms, Bridport in 2009 and 2010, at a cost of just over £14,000. We were perfectly satisfied and all seemed fine. But both radiators (Abacus Elegance linea rail at £119 and £124) have badly corroded and developed leaks. They are under a ten year guarantee. When I telephoned Ocean Bathrooms customer services, there was no willingness to view the product or deal immediately with the problem, despite the fact that the showroom is only seven miles away. I was, instead, asked to photograph the corrosion and leaks and e-mail - which I did. I have now received a written response: I have been referred to Abacus itself with the suggestion of a complicated 'testing kit.' This is nowhere near good enough. I have pointed out that my contract for guarantees and after-sales service is with Ocean Bathrooms, which sold me all products and fitted the bathrooms. It is, surely, up to Ocean to deal with Abacus, since it is one of their regular suppliers? I await a response. In the meantime, I have had one radiator replaced (I have kept the damaged product) at my own cost and will be doing so with the other, too. So my own experience is this: Ocean Bathrooms is fine when all goes well - cups of coffee served, friendly faces and efficient lay-outs shown - but disappear the moment there is any difficulty. Despite masquerading as something it is not, Ocean Bathrooms, Bridport is clearly just another rip-off company which run a mile when there is a problem. They are everywhere, aren't they? So...beware.

We are doing a new build and so had a blank canvas for 3 bathrooms and a cloakroom. Having trailed around numerous bathroom shops in Hampshire and failing to be inspired, I wandered into Ocean Bathrooms, Bridport, where I was wowed with ideas, given guidance as to how we could make each room different but maintaining a certain uniformity throughout the house, and suggestions were made to keep us within budget. We could not be more delighted with the quality of the goods, the look that has been achieved and the service provided by Joe Muhl and his team, who have supported us throughout the project. Thank you.
