We fancied some seafood so decided to give this restaurant a try. The food took some time to arrive and what came was very tasty.. we just felt it could have been hotter. Service was on the whole was good. Our waitress Lara was very friendly. When we asked a waitress for a bowl for shells, we were told to use the bread basket to hold shells ..which we found a bit odd. Also would have been great if they gave out wipes, hot towel or a finger bowl like most seafood restaurants. Other than that, we enjoyed it and left full.
I was fancying a burger and, stepped in this restaurant, I decided to give it a go.nUnfortunately, I haven’t been happy with the customer service.nAs the menu wasn’t displayed outside, I came in just for having a look. After a few seconds, the manager came, asking if I wanted to take a sit. I replayed that I was just having a look but he starred at me, forcing me to decide quickly. Found him quite annoying.nThe waiter, also, has been very pushy: for my whole meal he has forced me to be in a rush, asking me if he could clean up! Not very nice for someone who wants to enjoy a dinner in peace!!!nRegarding the drinks, I ordered a Blue Ocean Fizz with Prosecco which I found very original and good, even if a little too elaborated for this kind of restaurant - it has a blue electric colour.nMy fish burger was delicious.nMy dessert - a berry cheesecake - was decent but nothing special.nGenerally speaking the food is quite good with a - quite - chilled atmosphere.
Really nice feel as you walk into the restaurant, very Mediterranean. Various options on the menu with a variety of fish and seafood. Lobster sandwich was ok nothing special, bread very dry and very little lobster—avoid. All other platters on point! Particularly the calamari. Ok selection for children’s menu be aware that prawns on the kids menu come unpeeled!!!nAttentive service, very busy during peak hrs; reserve a table if you don’t want to be waiting…
Really nicely decorated restaurant. Reasonably priced good food. Fish, calamari, prawns, mussels in different combinations. Just like the South African chain. Good service.
Meeting up with family so had to order the family platter The Prawns had a nice smokeyness flavour although it could be abit juicier as it was kinda dry. Mussels the garlicky sauce on top was good just not enough, maybe bigger new zealand size mussles would be better suited. Salad wasn't my choice but good with the chips/fish/deep fried & grilled Squid. The soup was abit of a let down so thats a no tbh. Overall the food was great staff were friendly and helpful
